That's awesome. I went to high school nearby there (out in Valrico) and was at Busch Gardens for the first dry run of the Kumba back in '93. The next week, Michael Richards (Kramer) came to ride its inaugural passenger run, and I was there the next day after him to ride it on its second day. Back before that, we only had the Scorpion and the Python, so the Kumba was the beginning of the best big coasters.
Feels like we were there every step of the way, because we were, thanks to you. From groundbreaking on, it feels like I just saw Phoenix Rising, rise to existence. Plus, flamingoooooos! Loved it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Really enjoy a ride and it seems cool for so many. Turned out to be a good day for a ride. Back in the day when I could get out with my family, we had passes to 3 theme parks in Florida. Passes make the best gifts for Christmas and birthdays. A gift that keeps on giving for the year. Thank you bunches.
Looks like a nice family coaster to add to the park. As for the no shoulder restraints, you rode velocicoaster and it doesn’t have the restraints either.
i am going later today for pass holder preview. still have not gotten invited to media yet not sure why. kinda hurt i was not invited really looked foward to this ride,
I am going to love to see there Attendance record when it comes available because it looks like it has Ben the absolute slowest summer, specially July ever. Excellent all around
Thanks for documenting the removal of that boat game, not me but I'm sure somebody had a positive memory of that experience and it deserves an even if brief goodbye
How did you get a medium preview? That’s awesome. Wish I could get could get a media preview. Phoenix rising is taking place of all the kid rides to. It’s under 55 seconds and it has onboard audio and it’s different music when you ride it.
HEY,.. JAY Just Wanted to say What's Up and That I've Been Really Enjoying The latest video And Thanks again For the awesome Content And please Take care and be safe In Your travels. Mark D. Barre Vt
Afternoon Tampa Jay it's Wednesday the 17th of July just watched your video that 🎢 looked awesome nice one from Michelle over here in Nottingham in England 🇬🇧 can't wait to watch your next video love you Jay 😊😅😂❤❤❤❤
Great video, and thanks for filming again in one of my favorite parks. And now, for a silly little side note that I just have to get off my chest. It is mostly venting, so maybe just move on... But otherwise, here goes. All these travel vlogs have one recurring theme that consistently bothers the heck out of me. I hate that people have normalized begging for attention in the background whenever we detect somebody either filming for a blog or livestreaming. It is very noticeable and very annoying, which is why people do it, and they do it CONSTANTLY. We're so terminally online that this is where we're at now, just messing with creators for no reason, all the time. No manners, self-awareness or sense of self-respect. Poor Carpetbagger tried to film a roller coaster the other day and a kid started screaming behind him, endlessly, and as loudly as possible, just because he saw that Jacob was filming. Obviously there is a vast difference between literally screaming in someone's ear because you see them filming, and giving a few harmless (but annoying) "look-at-me" waves, but they follow a similar theme of sticking your nose into things just because you felt like being obnoxious that day, and I just think maybe that should stop being a thing that we treat as normal and acceptable, because it is at best cringey, and at worst harassment.
Sorry I’m from the safety team and just two days prior to this video we were still accidentally launching sand bags 300 feet. I think we finally figure out the restraint system and how to hold people in the ride vehicles. Sorry for the inconvenience.
They really ought to give the media a goodie bag for that ride/attraction on Media Day! 😊 Gotta say "Hello" to the Flamingos. 🦩🦩🦩🦩 Thank you for taking us along, my friend. Hugs 🤗 and God bless 🙏
I love mako because the restraints are freeing so you can really get some great floater airtime. It's one that I can just marathon. I can't decide if I like it better than velocicoaster.
That is definitely an awesome rollercoaster but I'm okay
and safe right here on the ground.🇺🇲👍👍🇺🇲
How would it be scary??

Figures Busch Gardens would finally build a good kids coaster after my kids are big enough to ride the big stuff now lol

Looks like a nice family coaster to add to the park. As for the no shoulder restraints, you rode velocicoaster and it doesn’t have the restraints either.

I was disappointed they pushed back the opening date 3 times because I wanted to ride it yesterday for my birthday 🥳
Happy Birthday
@@jayweiss4378 thanks
Yup, me too. I was there last month. Big let down.
Sorry I’m from the safety team and just two days prior to this video we were still accidentally launching sand bags 300 feet. I think we finally figure out the restraint system and how to hold people in the ride vehicles. Sorry for the inconvenience.
If ever your rollercoaster would get struck by lightning, you'd probably go back in time dude. Lol.
Is it suspended at all? Any swinging?
Any Chance u can go 4k like Cris?
Good job babe I love you!
You and Jay are great together. Enjoy watching you both on adventures!
They really ought to give the media a goodie bag for that ride/attraction on Media Day! 😊
Gotta say "Hello" to the Flamingos. 🦩🦩🦩🦩
Thank you for taking us along, my friend.
Hugs 🤗 and God bless 🙏
I like this video, We have a new roller coaster at Indiana Beach The All American Triple Loop
Flamingoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooosssssss. Rising
What are the requirements for getting a media pass ?
didn't hear you say anything about the music during the ride. did I miss something?
You need to check out the kangaroos they all had babies, I'm going to check it out this friday as a pass holder
I’m in Clearwater
Did you ride the mako at sea world that’s the only roller coaster where once was enough for me 😂 that one doesn’t have anything over your shoulders
I love mako because the restraints are freeing so you can really get some great floater airtime. It's one that I can just marathon. I can't decide if I like it better than velocicoaster.
BG sure isn't what it used to be. I went this weekend and it seemed so run down and seemed like a discount park.
$44.99 for a Pennant?!?! They've lost their minds!😂
44 dollars for a pennant is outrageous
That's how they get you. Tickets and passes may be cheaper, but the parking, food, and merch are more expensive than disney and universal
It’s a theme park what did you expect? But at least Busch and Sea World offer more perks than their competitors!

Hi Tampa Jay
Hi there
Over the shoulders you know it’s going upside down. Lap bar only you’re not going upside down.
