  • Canadian-based Fat Truck is Sherp's largest rival in the go-anywhere, super all-terrain vehicle space. While Ukraine-headquartered Sherp gets most of the headlines, Fat Truck is a stiff competitor.
Headquartered in Quebec, Canada, Fat Trucks are manufactured by Zeal Motor Inc. With a deep history in all-terrain vehicles, significant public support and amazing products, Fat Truck is worth a look.
    Thanks for watching!

Failed miserably when going head to head with a sherp pro. Went into an icy river but couldn't get out. Luckily the Sherp saved the day by going back in river and hauling it out. Sherp beat it on every terrain test.

Dont forget, it was a SHERP driver driving the fat truck. How else did you see that scenario going? Lets see a real head to head with a Sherp driver driving the Sherp and a TRUE fat truck driver driving the fat truck.

Looks like a Sherp with more bells and whistles and stuff that could break and malfunction.

It's for people actually using it for work. Not for celebrities and UA-camrs to drive around on their "rAnChEs." You're not going to drive a Sherp around doing agricultural work for 12h/day. The clunky controls are far too cumbersome, demanding, and tiring. You can drive a FT around all day, manipulate agricultural computers, and do actual work. Same reason combines and farm tractors are all computer controlled. It's about production. Plus, you don't have to hope you can get parts for it, because the manufacturer isn't under sanctions.

How in the hell did they get away copying EVERYTHING the Sherp did, even how you ingress & egress, how the wheels work, etc? Did they have no patents at all?

The distribution model is out dated and insufficient. They have one dealer per state. This reduces competition, increases time and distance cost for service and means no competition for quality customer service. Additionally, if i want to buy from a dealer in another state for a better price I could not. With online sales and shopping, territories by state is simply out dated thinking.

First of all,it is a blatant but poor copy of the Sherp. What happened to copyright protection?!

You can’t patent obvious stuff like the shape of the car or its tyres. You can only patent new inventions.
