This doesn't seem right. The Princess and the Pea has always been my all-time favorite fairytale and this is annoyingly different from the original version in the book. The princess was never portrayed as a prick. And she didn't seem to fake being uncomfortable sleeping with a pea underneath the mattresses, it really bothered her because only a real princess has a delicately soft skin. This loses the charm of the story. I can't hate this enough.
I like how sassy this princess is. Usually princesses are shown to be cheerful wide eyed dreamers that hope for true love especially in Disney but this one is so down to earth. She kind of reminds me of Darlene from Roseanne. I like that she is just marrying the prince for money because that what most princesses seem like they're really doing anyway and love doesn't happen in just three seconds or days or weeks. It takes time.
She doesn't even love him. The "princess" just hears the parents overtalking about the jewels then says yes. And another thing, how would it work if he married a mermaid. It wouldn't.
honestly I don't like this. When I Heard this story in my childhood I just loved this and in this story all charecters are doing something weird.. they Don't represents the real story.
