Another well explained chipping around and reading the greens.. slopes is the sore killer .. 😂 I wish I could play a round of golf with you that would be awesome! Tnx
It’s very important to realise the change of loft when on a down slope...or upslope. Handicap golfer’s more often than not forget this detail! Nice lesson Michelle!
Hi Michele! All great tips and techniques. Will definitely apply these tips the next time when i get to play cos weather is still too cold in Indiana.😏 Thank you for sharing your wonderful tips! 👌👍👍👏👏👏
hello Michele, I love your videos. despite the language barrier, your decomposition of movement allows us to see what to do. remember to have it translated into French. Thanks for what you do.
Hi Michele, congrats for having 27k subscribers already. In this video for down hill lie you mentioned landing distance in 1/3 to the pin. Can you do a video on various around the green shot types vs landing distance to the pin? Thanks in advance
LOVE your video's! I'm a left handed player, is there an easier way for me to think when you are explaining the slopes sessions for my stance etc. Thank you!
Hey Michele, I was in this situation today at The Mines on an index hole. Unfortunately, I’m just seeing your video and I took a club with less loft and my ball rolled off the green into the green side bunker. However, fortunately I learned how to get out of green side bunkers from you so I saved par. Thanks for this video. If I had watched it before today I’m sure I would have birdied the hole, which is rare for me. 🤣😂😅
Thank you. My biggest issue is always a downhill lie with deep sand bunker before the green. My ball is usually just five inches from the edge of the bunker. I always end up in the bunker. Help! Thank you😊
Excellent simple delivery on the various shots and options, always find it really interesting, one question (not related to this clip) but how do you/did you train your hips to go first in the full swing. thanks
Just found your channel. 68 years old and just started golfing about a year and a half ago. So I had a situation the other day and looking for advice. I was on a downhill lie with a pond just before the green. Short amount of green to work with before it fell off into a group of bushes. The green also was sloped away so anything hitting the green was going to roll. Short area between the pond and the green, maybe 6 feet. I used an Approach wedge which was not lofted enough. Needless to say I ended up in the pond. Suggestions are on how to play that situation.
excellent video. Very helpful! However, what do you do when there is not so much green to work with? Or, what to do with tall rough and no green and a downhill lie? Like your videos
Another very helpful video. Thank you Michelle. Question, what other degree wedges do you have? I have a 52, 54, 56, and 60... My most comfortable club is the 56*, so that one is always in my bag. The others would likely be the 54 or 60.
Michele the problem with all tricky shots is that for most amateur players there's no where to practice those kind of shots. The only place we can practice is over the driving range where the lie is always perfect
I had a tough one to deal with...about 5 yards past the green, downhill, in the rough with the pin about 15 feet on...I just opened my most lofted wedge, choked down, baby turn. It was an okay result. What would you do?
This is my second year of playing golf, now I am re-watching many of your videos. Again I found them very practical and useful.
Thank you Michelle! Excellent lecture! From Canada.
Thank you!
Very useful lesson. Lot's of finer points brought out particularly distance control which I was not fully aware of. Thanks a lot. God bless.
Thank you
Really enjoy how Michele breaks things down. Just so practical. Love it.

Excellent instruction...any advice if short sided with green running downhill and fast? My nightmare scenario!
Course management and club selection is super important. Pick the right club and commit to it
I had a similar shot to this today. I used a pitching wedge. It ended up being a pretty good bump and run. (3ft left to putt) Thanks for the help.
So glad to hear!

What grind is on your 58 degree wedge?
