Thank You (Rain World Animatic)

Obviously this contains spoilers of the whole survivor run so fair warning.
Hi I've been obessed with the game since 2018 and now because of the latest DLC it's hitting REALLY HARD so have a quicky animatic :}
also hi! its been a long time since i posted something here but its cause ive been so focused on 3D and work that I barely have the strength to animate.
thooough i have been getting back into the swing of things so if you wanna see what ive been up too...

Although to me it looks that survivor(?) went and ascended, I'd like to believe he remembered his family last second and decided he had to find a way to say thank you. After that he says thank you by finding two pups, adopting them, and then bringing them to Outer Expanse. Not that the animation hints towards anything of that sort, that's just what I'd like to believe.

It looks to me like the ending was Survivor reuniting with their family only to wake up and realize it was just a dream and their journey isn’t over 😢

Sometimes we forget how sad survivor story is. all the other slugcats had interesting stories, but none of them were quite as sad as survivors even with his brother going and searching for him to help him.

God, i remember hearing about rainworld when if first came out and then i forgot about it till like a month ago. And this whole month i have been obsessed with this game and it seems i am not the only one

Well that thing looks pretty stuck in a hole at the start, then gets shoo-d by a hand thingy, then chased by a vulture and other stuff, then meets some robot-ish humanoid creature that doesn't seem that kind to me. Then it gets lost or something i dunno.
Sorry if i got anything wrong, i have literally no idea what the game DLC is about.

@@mikotheraskum2014 Most things are right. The slugcat (Who i presume is Survivor) dies plenty of times (At least if the player is someone like me)
The Iterators("robots") are mostly like “Go kill yourself ” which is a kind thing in rainworld (Because you can't die blah blah go ascend past farm arrays blah blah triple affirmative blah blah blah)

at that time, i had no idea of the journey Rain World would bring me through.

obsession
trauma
a new beginning.
i revisited this today, and oh my god its just. the nostalgia, almost. a time where i was mentally better off, but didn't know as much.
i miss it, but i wouldn't have it any other way than it is now.
