I had a dream that there was a revival in a town called Hemphil. After I woke up to see if I could find any such town. I'm in California, so I was searching in California, and the closest I could find was Hemet. That was a couple of days ago. Today I decided to look up Hemphill and the word "revival," and I found this video. Maybe it's a coincidence, or maybe it's the Lord saying that revival in coming, which I already do believe, and it's already starting. He's working to gather his sheep before his return. Hallelujah!
Once Candy starts singing her voice stands out and cuts through the rest like a hot knife through butter! LOVED her voice in this song and also "I'm In This Church" and especially "Consider the Lillie's" I wish they had a best of collection with their ORIGINAL recordings. There are some out there but are re-records and not as good as the originals.
I'd say ALL churches need this 😁😁😁😁

What happened to the joy of the Lord ? Some didn't even crack a smile and looks completely miserable
Do you just constantly sit around smiling from ear to ear thru a concert or movie or when other people are around? Are you really that silly? And fyi those singers are not just a ministry they are not preachers they are performers and it is a job for them. They just chose to take on an occupation they enjoy and yes most hope someone will receive a blessing in the process. You need to dig a lot deeper into Gods word and what Jesus taught Sarah. you can not judge someone by the look on their face no more than you can judge what kind of person they are based on their physical Beauty.
Ya, i agree. Something seems off. Most aren't clapping and have scowls on their faces. Something must have happened before taping this. Show me another homecoming performance where people are so "dead".

I always wondered why the hemphills never did anymore singing together on these videos. was Candy to good to do it. Don't get me wrong I love her singing. she just didn't look happy in this video.

Go listen to the Hemphills' original recording. The song had been arranged so that the soprano (Candy) would take the lead from the 2nd half of the song.
