Alchemy of Art by TuCho Teaser Video

An incredible one-time-only art performance staged by TuCho at Chai Living featuring two prima ballerinas and two soloist ballerinas from the troop of the National Cuban Ballet.
For a brief but beautiful quarter of an hour, we have been teleported in the chambers of the alchemist to witness the processes of courageous and personal transformation.
Accompanied by the music of legendary Tchaikovsky mixed in with modern electronic beats, and Tucho’s own voice, the performance took us through the three phases of alchemy. Starting with the Nigredo phase, where the purifying power of fire burns human’s impurities, fear, anger, and obsession with control, we were then lead through the Rubedo phase. As if the life itself, full of contradictions, mixed feelings of joy and pain, Rubedo exposed us to our shadow selves. Once having faced our deepest monsters, we are finally reborn, relieved of constraints and limiting beliefs in the Albedo phase. Together with the artist, we set free to live, experiment, flow and create!
