Michael, this is so so brilliant ! How patient you are with every detail. Ever since I have subscribed to your channel, I eagerly wait for new videos. Your technique of putting the branch in place after getting all the leaves painted, is what I like. Photographic effect. Can I suggest you to mention the colors used in between your talk or in your description. For me , this is to know how you achieved that effect. Thankyou so much!

Your words are 100% correct, I have only two months and I learned from a teacher Wade things, and I opened the UA-cam channel and my drawings were hollow. Has anyone learned all this two months ago?
My dearest Mikey, this is a gorgeous scene! It also shows the very techniques you naturally use that long ago I added with much practice: the feather touch, rolling the fine rigger brush in paint to create the perfect point & never blend colors into solid color so each stroke, ie each leaf or piece of bark or grain of sand is naturally multicolored. Brilliant, just brilliant! When I look at my former works, tho detailed, they appear cartoony detailed. THAT is why you've had my pure loyalty these past ±7 years. Now, the other ingredient that sealed the deal? Your absolute unabashed sense of humor. But uh, what's going on here. Your hair is the same color as mine now. I have a good excuse, age 70... You're still quite the young buck. You can tell me, a can of enamel paint fell from a high shelf in your garage, right? Always ❤, 🤠.

Do you block in with acrylics? CAN you block in with oils to achieve the same effect?

Most painting block in with acrylics, But choose for you to use the acrylic paint or oil paint on the painting. The best thing to use oil painting ❤

I am sick and very heartbroken.
I am a survivor of a violent family. And both of my parents had dementia.
I quit my job and took care of my parents.
I changed my diapers, and I took care of my diet and rehabilitation.
I took care of everything for you both.
Now I am spending time for myself. I am healing and taking care of myself.
This is my first time learning oil painting.
It calms me down.
The picture in the video is very beautiful.
I will learn and practice drawing.
I love drawing.
It makes me study drawing.
If I draw well, I want to upload it on UA-cam.
