There is a way to get the hero shard 75% of the time. I have figured out the timing on the luckywheel. The 25% failure is based off of my timing error. If you press the button to start wheel and you count to 4 fast and hit the button again you will get the shard. I set a tempo of tapping my fingers on the desk 1234 1234 1234 1234. I have not figured out the timing for the 5 shard reward on the wheel, just the single shard reward.

I agree that you are very unlikely to get enough shards to get a 5 star hero but you can bye saving general shards get enough to complete to 5 star but you have to save your gems so that you can do 120 spins for each time the wheel comes around. I only use gems for arena 300 per day for two extra goes which most of the time gets me the daily 500 tokens. and the lucky wheel which by taking every opportunity to scavenge gems I get to the 120. Events like the spring festival help .

I have more resources than shield and I am fully f2p. It's not like he has more resources because of white out survival...😅
I don’t agree with the second half my 3rd acc which is my farm after spinning the wheel I have 120k gems left. The nian king event gave a lot for free

Always go for 5star with lucky wheel heros. It takes 163k gems for 120 spin every 2 week.

Wrong information. Lucky wheel comes 6 times in each generation so one can easily max a hero.
