Random bits and bobs worth noting -We will not be receiving more notable info on this game until summer 2024 -All monsters shown are brand new and unnamed except Rathalos at the very end. -Our mount seems to replace the Palamute from Rise and will likely have all the same abilities minus drift boosting in exchange for short term gliding -Our mount also has two satchels, one probably for items and another carrying what looks like a Light BowGun. This implies our hunter will be able to swap between two weapons during a hunt and not need to go to a camp, if they exist. -Herbivores have herding AI now and the number of creatures in screen has gone up significantly! -Weather changing mid hunt appears to be a big part of this game. Elder Dragons like Kirin or Kushala Daora may actually be able to manipulate the weather of a map properly now. -The map itself appears to be a Savannah of sorts, Africa based game? -No signs of the Palico -The hunter appears to have both a Slinger and a Scoutfly cage implying World esque tracking and Slingshot Pods rather than tossable items like in Rise. -Open world maps, much larger than World’s. Whether or not the locales are one big world or separate visitable locales like in prior games, we don’t know. -the rocks in 7:03 are likely just funky rock formations in a cave with fulgurite in them, an ore created from high lightning activity in an area. Definitely not the Highlands. -Different trailers show the game will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam so I dunno what’s going on with release dates there I would like to point out though, -Massive open fields with minimal walls -No tight zone transition corridors or tunnels -Herbivores have group herding AI -They’re using the hair physics from Rise on monsters such as the “Ogre Lions” that were chasing the hunter Gammoth might be coming back. If she ever came back, this is the game she would THRIVE in!
World Trailer was mind-bendingly awesome, to the point where it was like "How the HELL is this even real? theres no way the game is actually like this...?" and it was all 100% true, you go back and watch the original World trailer from 2017 and it still holds up, and this new trailer doesnt quite hit that same level because World absolutely spoiled us. BUT its incredibly exciting, and its exactly what i was hoping for, though this was VERY MUCH a Teaser to let us know the game is a thing, and that its coming, and thats honestly all we need. This also sets up for them to show us some actual alpha gameplay during the 20th anniversary in March, Geoff Keely himself soon after the announcement said that he personally played a quick demo of whatever is playable right now, so we know thats definitely a thing. Capcom said they want a global release and not have it so the games are released weeks apart from console to console like they did with World, it wont take them 2 years to port the game over. World and Rise also have mounts, the Tailriders in World are auto-pilot but are nice for new people to have, and we have Palamutes in Rise. Gotta beat Fatalis Zal and get a good chunk of Rise done before the release of Wilds! you gotta be there on day one with all of us so you can experience a monster hunter game fresh at launch!
I think they made the 6 pretty obvious in the logo so calling it MH6 will be the common abbreviation I think. The storm kinda reminded me of the MH movie and these new small monsters look like they use the gowngoat model from sunbreak. The mount looks like an evolution of the palamute. I also think that open world is the direction here and I think that would open so many ecology possibilities for monsters, it would also allow underwater to come back like in horizon and yes it looked like he had a light BG in his package so maybe switching weapons mid hunt? Anyway the HYPE IS ON!!! ❤
@@apexzora4423with it being called wilds makes me think there may be no hub and we are just in this giant landmass. It would be interesting and it would be differant if it was that way. It's gonna be a long wait finding out either way haha.
Theyre the same thing, itd be more correct to call it MH6 since the logo has 6 dragons head keeping the tradition, MH4 had 4 heads and World had 5 heads, and the game internally is called MH6 through the leak a long time ago
The more you analyze the trailer, the more promising this game gets
It was confirmed by official MH Twitter that Wilds will come out both on consoles and PC on first day. Don't worry about this.

First MH on RE ENGINE that is not on switch thanks god the game will look amazing
@@gabrulelI remember watching the trailer and screening in enjoyment seeing that only next gen consoles were listed and not the switch
You basically said everything me and my friend were talking about when analyzing this trailer last night
By look of charaters armor and great sword design, it is probably more about persia like midlle east region.
Amazing video as usual zal! So excited to see you go thru the game, your MH World playthrough was nothing short of amazing!
LETS GET *WILD*
Im so excited for this game man it looks crazy
The trailer on the game awards listed steam aswell as ps5 and xbox x/s.
Let's goooo

More of a teaser than a trailer anyway
This game definitely are more saturated and vibrant than world with its muddy and down to earth feeling

it says ps5 because it's on the ps5 channel
This game looks like one giant landmass. Is this gonna be a fully open world monster hunter game? It looks that way to me.
I think bigger open maps is more plausible
@@apexzora4423with it being called wilds makes me think there may be no hub and we are just in this giant landmass. It would be interesting and it would be differant if it was that way. It's gonna be a long wait finding out either way haha.
We could call it mhwilds. Or just wilds. Or or mhws.
To me this feels like both MH6 and World 2. Wilds does sound like World , plus it has the same font and letering presentation as World
