I'm so glad that Aoki-san toyed with Guy. Would've been a bit dull if he'd have left him for dust! Clear show of respect on display by both.

Aoki-san knows who Guy Martin is . Aoki specialises in this Race Format , whereas , on the Island he would be outdone .

Guy's definitely taken on board the Japanese etiquette briefing that he's been given. Just a little thing, but notice how he hands over his gift to Aoki-san at the end, presenting it with both hands - very respectful. Way to go, Guy!

    • @pauljohnson7382

      Agree...except for his bow.
Aoki-San bowed very low, head down, and held his position... while Guy initially went partially and abruptly...lower and longer is respect and honor...
      Fun race BTW-👍

This is a cross between Speedway and Flat track racing. Dirt is better then asphalt. The bike is more like a Speedway bike. I would go and see Speedway racing at Irwindale Ca. back in the late 70's. One of the riders of this sport was Billy Gray (Bud) from Father knows best . It was on a 1/4 mile race track. No brakes, 500 cc Jawa motors and the bike was the size of a 10 speed bike, maybe a little bigger ,but not much.If you can't cross it up in the corners it is no fun.

If you ride motorcycles, you know who Guy Martin is.
Aoki was probably psyched just to have him there.

Uhhh.... I would venture to say Aoki is a more accomplished rider than Guy Martin. Don't get me wrong, I like Guy..... but he hasn't won anything.

Why are you treating the WGP champion as an unknown rider?

I've seen this Japanese racer before. He's like some sort of large, stiff monstrous freak compared to the competition.

The brotherhood of bikers stretches over all the continents in the world , I wanna go on that track with that sweet looking bog seat ( a favoured local name for a cub as fuel tank looks like what you do a number 2 on ) , them things deck right out grinding the pegs, even 3s up ha ha

I was at the petrol station and a POSSEE of C90 riders wheeled in on totally chopped and customized PLAGS!!!
Beautiful, all bored out to at least 125cc and had crazy shiny expensive mods ALL OVER... there seems to be a big scene in middle aged men riding Plag90's ... unless they were just on the run from the mental asylum... do a search for them

@@JETJOOBOY ha ha I will look it up mate, they probably reliving there youth as we had crossesrs as kids but are everyday goto was these or monkey bikes , plags ha ha everyone has a fond names for them , best buys when you see post shop advert for £50 ono, you crash all your pocket money in and go around old guys and it's been garaged with like 5000 on the clock , so drain juice for some fresh stuff and check oil ,faultless happy miles ahead ,I was thinking on doing a sleeper 200 ,goto say though I'll be getting the new forks as the old one are a handful when you goto slam on and all bikes compress down and they go up ha ha ,we tuned up a 90 once and it done 90 but I did work for a lotus tuning and race tuning shop , amazing power out of something so light , you'd smoke most things off the lights on the back wheel

Great way to kill a few hours and I sometimes have the stream going when I work from home. Races are broadcast from all over Japan, from the smallest tracks to the biggest.
