Guy's definitely taken on board the Japanese etiquette briefing that he's been given. Just a little thing, but notice how he hands over his gift to Aoki-san at the end, presenting it with both hands - very respectful. Way to go, Guy!
Agree...except for his bow. Aoki-San bowed very low, head down, and held his position... while Guy initially went partially and abruptly...lower and longer is respect and honor... Fun race BTW-👍

3:04 Guy has clearly been briefed on Japanese customs on politeness. When handing over a gift, present it holding it with both hands and it should get accepted with two hands (like it does). This is typically also done in when handing over name cards.
If I remember correctly, this form of racing was included in the Movie "On Any Sunday 2". It's very old, and it's foundation is for gambling, just like horse racing.

You know that "Japanese geezer" is a 2-time 125cc World Champion, right? He could destroy Guy Martin on a SBK even today. Haruchika was just born in the wrong era as he was given God-awful bikes for 250cc (non-factory Honda) and 500cc (TSR-Honda). I always said he was the fastest Aoki, even better than Suzuki factory rider Nobuatsu or HRC rider Takuma, but they never gave him a chance.

The Fireball Brothers! In 1995 all three Aoki brothers had a dream weekend and earned spots on the Grand Prix podium at the world level during the Japanese GP at Suzuka. Takuma Aoki in 500GP (now called MotoGP), Nobuatsu in 250GP and Haruchika in 125GP. Had no idea that Haru was now racing bikes like this.

Bonnie's all around EU + the odd Suzi, F800Gs Adv in AU, but traveling the UK for a few years on my C90 with that bitching semi auto was a fond memories great crack other than the buggers in cars pulling out on you thinking you were doing 30 on a moped when you were doing 53mph. This is a cross between Speedway and Flat track racing. Dirt is better then asphalt. The bike is more like a Speedway bike. I would go and see Speedway racing at Irwindale Ca. back in the late 70's. One of the riders of this sport was Billy Gray (Bud) from Father knows best . It was on a 1/4 mile race track. No brakes, 500 cc Jawa motors and the bike was the size of a 10 speed bike, maybe a little bigger ,but not much.If you can't cross it up in the corners it is no fun.
The brotherhood of bikers stretches over all the continents in the world , I wanna go on that track with that sweet looking bog seat ( a favoured local name for a cub as fuel tank looks like what you do a number 2 on ) , them things deck right out grinding the pegs,even 3s up ha ha
I was at the petrol station and a POSSEE of C90 riders wheeled in on totally chopped and customized PLAGS!!! Beautiful, all bored out to at least 125cc and had crazy shiny expensive mods ALL OVER... there seems to be a big scene in middle aged men riding Plag90's ... unless they were just on the run from the mental asylum... do a search for them
@@JETJOOBOY ha ha I will look it up mate, they probably reliving there youth as we had crossesrs as kids but are everyday goto was these or monkey bikes , plags ha ha everyone has a fond names for them , best buys when you see post shop advert for £50 ono, you crash all your pocket money in and go around old guys and it's been garaged with like 5000 on the clock , so drain juice for some fresh stuff and check oil ,faultless happy miles ahead ,I was thinking on doing a sleeper 200 ,goto say though I'll be getting the new forks as the old one are a handful when you goto slam on and all bikes compress down and they go up ha ha ,we tuned up a 90 once and it done 90 but I did work for a lotus tuning and race tuning shop , amazing power out of something so light , you'd smoke most things off the lights on the back wheel
