I really like how the Austrian bikes come with top notch components like steel braided brake lines, billet clamps, trail computer, headlight, extra half gallon of gas, etc. Absolutely love my Yamaha but some of the Husky's features really would be nice to have!

I'm completely in love with my 2020 300xc & I've always been a 4t guy.. Definitely the best bike for what I do .

Mighty pretty country. Doesn’t it feel good when you find that bike that fits you. I know I am loving my 250xc. Great review. Stay safe

Bike is still looking great and glad to hear it's held up well. Still a bit under 70 hrs on mine and and continue to love every moment on it. I've done some similar changes with different brands/models and a couple you haven't. Feel like the flange protector and fan kit are about all I may consider to add in the future. Is the lower seat that much more helpful? 5'7" but stand much more on this bike. Lower seat might help seated maneuverability though. It's already not so comfy. :)

The seat helps a tiny bit when you are in the tough spots. The reason i got the new seat is because i ripped the old one when i cartwheeled my bike into a tree on Silver Mountain Extreme Enduro. Me and the bike were injured on day 2 before the race ever started ha ha. The seats are definitely NOT comfy! Thanks for the comment!

Awesome bike, love to get a New KTM or Husky 250 (it would be TPI but they seem to good now). You goin to get a new TPI in the future?

I might consider a TPI in the future. It depends on how they hold up. The 2020 TPI bikes seem way better than previous versions.

KTM/Husky in my mind, have absolutely changed the game with TPI bikes. They aren’t without flaws, but what technology isn’t? I’m loving my 2020 KTM 300 XC-W TPI Six Days (what a mouthful....I need an acronym for this one.).
I ride with someone rolling a 2020 Husky TE 250 and he’s in love with it. He came from a 2019 300 XC-W and said it’s substantially better for his riding style.

Yeah, I would love to ride a 2-stroke that just always ran right like the 4-strokes do. Problem is, i want to make sure they are durable like the 4-strokes are as well. So far the technology has not been holding up on the TPI's.

RacerRed Well said for sure! I think I’m going to be in the group of dudes that trades up each year 😬

What do you think about the TX vs the Te?
Close to buying a tx300 2021 to go with my 450exc
Do you prefer the 250 over the 300?

Thats a tough one. You will love either bike coupled with your 450exc-f. The TX 250 or 300 is generally more liked by most riders because of its mid-ratio transmission. The TE's are known to have a large gap between 2nd and 3rd gear. This gap no longer gives me issues after getting used to it but was weird when i first started riding it. I ride the 250, and the 250's are notoriously more fun to ride. They feel lighter and more playful than a 300, but if you absolutely want to cut the B.S. and make it up a cliff face in Hard Enduro every time i would recommend the 300.
Many of the issues with the TE have been fixed, and i really like the fact that they have a trail computer, as well as a headlight. The suspension has been fixed, and so has the transmission since they added 1-tooth to the rear sprocket. It's a tough choice but personally, I like the TE models. With a 300 you wont even notice a large gap between gears because of the torque you make on that bike. I could talk about this for days, so i will stop here!

Thx man. I’m leaning towards the TX for the trans and the air forks.
      Appreciate your reply 👍🏼
