I bought mine half a year ago. One of my dream cars back in childhood days. Feels unreal and surprisingly practical for such a sleek looking hot hatch.

I'm a Motobike guy at heart. I've always loved the Scirocco tho. My brother-in-law just bought a new car and gave me his 2009 Scirocco. It's only the 2Ltr 140 stock but that aint gonna last long! Got spare cash and a itch to spend.
Go stage 1 it will have 260hp
the 2 liter has 200/211 stock, not 140

I owned a VW Scirocco for nearly 9 years, it was a great car, had some mods and it did 0-100kmh in 5,4 seconds, but I wanted an all wheel drive car, so I bought a 2017 subaru wrx sti, much better :)

Im buying a 2013 scirocco gt diesel what can I do to the exhaust to get a nice sound off it? is it illegal to straight pipe or change the cat or muffler in England?
Nothing, it's a diesel.
Can make it sound half decent but it won't sound nearly as nice as a petrol. Anyway it would be illegal as you would need to remove the DPF
well its a diesel... I have diesel scirocco, im only planing visual "mods", but cant rly do much about the sound

Love the Scirocco but getting Civic vibes from most of these, god damn..
Some sound like diesels with aftermarket exhaust even though a lot of them aren't lol. I have a stock 1.4 TSI which is just the turbo only model and low revs it does sound nice considering and at high rpm it sounds nice. I am debating about changing the exhaust for something sporty, but seems typical of bag turbos sounding like fart cans even if it's a manual. I don't get how some even like their car sounding like it.
@@thesilentgametestr Exactly. Furthermore, they sound too loud but they're not moving as fast as they should considering the sound they make which makes it look silly. If you're happy with the low and high revs as it is, leave it be, man. Or do thorough research and try to find a nice "in between".
anyone knows how to mod the exhaust to makes the exhaust sounds deeper(more bass) instead of sharp sound.

@@037342 I own a 1.4 I did res delete but sometimes sounds sharp and high and I hate it. :(
Mairo mora labbe the deepness may come with engine displacement but getting a larger diameter exhaust may help? If it’s too raspy just keep the back resonator and get rid of the middle. I have a 2.0l with 3” scorpion turbo back and it’s nice and deep!

Quick question, if you mod the car let say stage 1 or 2, did you have to upgrade the transmission as well? Most Scirocco available in my country are 1.4 tsi and almost all automatic transmission. VW parts is quite expensive here. Let say if your transmission broke, you need around USD 3500 for a replacement. Heard because the 1.4 using dry clutch and not proper for traffic jam (yes, Jakarta has horrible traffic jam) and if you mod it, it will just make it even worst..
They are available with manual transmissions too

I’m sorry I can’t help you I have been looking for an hour to help you as I know a few body kits but I can’t find it. Btw the HXRNY won’t help you it just means strong and powerful and always finds new things to achieve.
