It's too funny seeing this video pop up. I just took some pics. I'm gonna post with my box art big bear next to my jay halsey rc10. Good luck with the build, brother. 🤘🤘💪
Good day, Been enjoying your videos. Ive got a question about hotwheels. I found a hotwheels red line 1969 mantis . The paint is mostly worn off. It only has one complete wheel. The other 3 are just the inside disks. The body is pretty straight . It has the plastic seat insert but the windscreen is missing. My question is , is it worth restoring or will it have no woth if it is restored? Thanks in advance
Thank you! That's a tough one, with the time and effort it's probably not worth it if you're looking to sell for profit. A quick search on eBay I see prices ranging from $19 and up. Finding a windscreen, painting and wheels will set ya back more than $20. I know restoring most of the ones I have weren't necessarily worth it but it was fun!
@WheelsNThangs thanks. I thought that might be the case. I was only half thinking about restoring it because I found it in a box of my childhood things. Apparently it was my first hot wheels. My mum said she got it as old new stock for like .25 cents from a toy store she worked at at Christmas time to make extra money. I don't remember it but I must have played with it alot considering the condition it's in. Lol The only 2 cars in the box wad that one and a matchbox Blaze buster firetruck. I must have hated that one as it's like new. The wheels even still spin straight lol Thanks again for your advice

Nice, I can't wait to see it! I plan on getting an RC10 sometime this year. I gotta slow down on the spending!
Hey MrThangs
Shaping up to be a nice looking truck. How do you re-inflate the tires?
Take care😊
With air. I kid! These bad boys are too far gone. Take care Mr. Tim!
