I remember when Smokey and the Bandit came out and my Mom ask me what I wanted for my birthday and I said I wanted to go to the movie and see Smokey and the Bandit and I wanted that hot wheels T/A, and thats what I got ...best birthday ever
WOW!!! Comparing the first look with final result truly blew my mind! You nailed it. After restoration, that HotWheels looks like a brand-new model. Great job!
I was going to say how you are your own harshest critic, and then I remembered what UA-cam critics are really like...Definitely upgraded this car! Have fun with your toys!!!
I was wondering what kind of acid did you use for the base? The bird turned out “Hot”, lol. Great video and thanks for sharing your process. Regards, Ivan.
I do a trick with car headlights if you wet sand the windshield with a 600 grit until it’s white or clear blue whatever the colors windshield is until the dirt off it which is soap and water and 600 grit sandpaper you can shoot it with clear like a 1K and it look brand new
Maybe not you but 1977 was hot with the movie Smokey and the bandit with Burt Reynolds and sally field. That car was very ho,t then. I'm not a car collector bur it is one of very few that I would keep
I'll always have a soft spot for the 70s and 80s Firebirds. Those wheels are instant nostalgia.
Same!
