This road trip with you is so fantastic Kate! Many people don't realize how exhausting traveling by road can be. I traveled full-time in a huge motorhome and towing our car for 8 years. I sold advertising for RV park and Resort guest services guides. The driving of a massive vehicle is very draining, but it is so wonderful being able to see our beautiful country!

Oh those lamp shades were great! Never seen anything like it!
My Grandma had a lot of the chalk wear wall hangers and unfortunately my mom never paid on a storage shed that we had everything in and we lost everything in the storage shed and all the antiques that we had and the chalk wall hangers were one of them.😢 We even lost photo albums with old photos and it to and home videos and a whole lot of stuff. My birth certificate was one of the items that was in the shed.

I have a question…when you find pieces that you really like at vintage-antique malls have you ever asked if the owner would accept an offer less than what’s on the tag? I do that here in Upper Michigan.

I personally cant stand to see a beautiful vintage item, that's been repainted. Id rather have the paint loss, than an item thats got a fresh, and tacky paint job. I guess maybe thats just me though. Darn shame about that chalkware fish. I love those. Be safe 😊❤❤❤
