One more thing..on the right to bear arms: The reason for your ‘No’ vote is valid and is your RIGHT. The Govt should have a standing army period 📌. Self Defense should never be a replacement for the USB military. However, I have always felt that our regular citizens need to defend themselves, and this is from when MSE was present. I am happy with the Bill. Our people were not fully protected even last year when MSE was present. I am referring to Enugu area in particular, plus the other isolated incidents of when folks were kpai’d when they went to their farms or kidnapping incidents. I also feel it is our responsibility to make the resources and AWARENESS via radio available because A LOT of people on ground are still unaware of what’s happening from my conversations with them. Self Defense augments the army to minimize the impact of the zoo kpaing our people. Another reason why self defense needs to be encouraged is because even when we are fully restored these people that ‘put their head on the ground’ will never stop. We must learn to be self sufficient, be on the offensive, and also learn from our past history of sla very and col oni zation so we can stop being victims.
Ada, I want to say a few things: I do not support SUSPENSION whether it is MNK, MSE or COS doing it. I find it to be toxic, archaic and demeaning, to use it on adults. This is what is done in schools for kids. In a work environment, you can write people up, give warnings, or just have a conversation about personality differences. Then if that does not work, you can fire/sack them. I can never support a toxic work environment. I am disappointed that after the exposition of what happened to you and other whistleblowers in the BRGIE cabinet, this intimidating tactic still continues. It is your choice to continue to work in toxic environments or not, so that part is your decision. Finally I want to encourage you to continue doing what you are doing, i.e. staying on the path of truth-sincerity. Do not hide things from Biafrans. You have done well in exposing things thus far. We would not have known about Oge Nkere and the bribery of the media, if you did not expose that. We love you and appreciate you a lot for that. Whether you are with the Govt or not, I will support you as long as you stay on that path of truth. Vet your sources very well, and know that many around you who smile with you, may not truly have your back. There are a few people like me who do not trust people who are not transparent and/or manipulative and I personally refuse to follow anyone blindly. I need to see results. A lot of us are in the struggle for 1 thing and 1 thing alone. WE DO NOT LIKE SEEING OUR PEOPLE GETTING KPAI’D. I will support leaders that are preventing that, by verifiable ACTIONs not empty talk.
