wtf are u talking about? Seasonic makes arguably the best psu’s out there. As well as for ASUS, phanteks, nzxt, Corsair, cooler master…are u retarded or just retarded ?
Regarding the popularity of Seasonic PSUs and the many questions about this particular unit, it was a review you ought to do. :-))) Great review as always. Thumbs up!
I like Ari's reviews, seem genuine and none biased which is hard to find toady, thank you Ari!!! I got Seasonic 1000W ATX 3.0 last year and I love it. It is dead silent, never hear fan and runs cool keeping my Strix 3090 and 7950X happy. I was hoping to get the new Focus 3.1 for my 4070Ti Super, but now makes me wonder.
Running a RM850x (2021) with a 3080 12 GB and 13700k, excellent PSU all around. if the 2024 version is as good as the 2021 version (knowing Corsair it's even better), you can't go wrong with the RM850x. It's a well built beast of a PSU.
I have a huge bias against NZXT, no matter how good a product can be. Between the scandal of their cases taking fire, their motherboard that are rebranded Asrock with alot of plastic... Their PSU *could* be as good as they say, I can't help but see NZXT as overpriced plastic junk :( Ant info on who manufactures the NZXT PSUs?
My advice, anything, but NZXT. Their PSUs, Motherboards are unsafe, tend to go in flames so not only you putting yourself at risk, but RMA will first blame customer before they even proceed.
@@brianmiller1574 i think those were the old nzxt psus. the new ones that came out in 2024 with atx 3.1 support or alright and fixed. 10 year warranty too
hello sir i have a question : For a gaming focused system with all components overclocked to the max (i7 13700k , 2 samsung b-die ram , a rtx 3080) , around 14 fans total inside the case , will a platinum psu perform better than a gold psu ? curious to know how much does a high end psu affects the gaming perf. of a system in terms of stability ,consistency ,safety and smoothness , because gaming is one scenario where all the components in the pc are stressed to the max what particular psu specs should we look for when considering a high end psu for gaming ?
Efficiency only doesn't mean a lot for what you ask. This is why we also test protection features etc. The overall performance is more suitable to ask your question, and soon enough there will be this metric in the Cybenetics site. There is already, though, in the HWbusters best PSUs article.
You are that dude... Big Up yourself. I always learn from you videos... I always want to know if the Power Supply being tested is Half Bridge or Full Bridge. I would like to get a full bridge power supply that is 1000 watts.. I like core reactor 11 results but it is not full bridge and I like the Straight Power 12 1000 watt, but it seems to have a number of returns or issues down the line.. Maybe I am wrong about that. I like Seasonic and Corsair but the shift might not fit my case. So yeah 1000 watts would be nice.. Thank you for all that you do sir. Respect. Up from Oakland California
Been waiting on new psu to drop, tho alit more expensive fsp hydro ti pro 1000 might be the best choice. But never heard of this brand before until i saw you review at harwarebusters
@@HardwareBusters i have always used corsair or seasonic, in over 20 year pc building only had to rma a corsair unit once, i guess this brand is really not known to me since i always though corsair and seasonic were top tiers.
Appreciate your work, for reviewing and certification do you procure the units from open market (which ensures anonymity) or use the manufacturer provided units which can potentially be cherry picked "golden sample" units.
We do both, but we mostly get units from OEMs and manufacturers directly before they go out on mass production. If we notice something fishy, we also buy one. See the Thermaltake GF A3 case for example. In any case, our program isn't fooled by Gold samples and we have vast experience to easily spot them.
Sad to see that the performance of the new model is worse. Its starting to sound more like marketing talk about the improved PCB and airflow. But looking at the review it looks more like the redesign was for cost reductions. But this is offcourse the budget model. Im still very happy with my Prime Titanium 750 but thats in a totally different price range.

Ari we're proud of you keep up this amazing work!
Seasonic spending more money on its marketing advertisements than their actual products. Not a good sign.

Look at the new Corsair RMx (ATX v3.1)
How does it compare to Seasonic Vertex GX-1000
the Vertex GX has a bit higher overall performance. Not so high difference though.
pls review the new asus psu lineup atx 3.1 and the msi 1250W atx 3.1

Did they skip V2? So there's the original one from 2018 right, then an updated ATX 3.0 one and now this one, maybe they consider SGX one as V2 huh.
Thank you
