The dude was going easy on Aria... Aria has a really good body for sure but fighting is all about experience and attitude. Most fighters train since they were children and to compete with them you have to be either very talented or have long experience like them. That’s reality. To think that you can beat a real fighter is quite naive. But I don’t want discourage Aria in any way. I have huge respect for him and his accomplishment and I can see him possibly fight a way weaker opponent and actually beat him if he keeps training very hard.

Feeling doubted, having doubts in yourself, and being in vulnerable positions where other people won't think you'll do it. Then he does it, loses, badly frankly, not just in front of others but the entire internet and holds his head high and tells his story and gets the girl.

At first, i was tossed around and manhandled. Then, i started weight training and after 2 years of learning how to move against larger opponents with the strength i was gaining, i began to win. I mean the fact that you did all of that while doing your buzzfeed work took some of your lifetime for one minute in the ring is incredible. But the way you did it the way you persevere through it I mean it has to be one of the most truthful and inspiring videos of BuzzFeed EVER. IT'S not just a personal story for the sake of being a personal story you shared something with us and tried to inspire us and you did all of that in a very cinematic way a beautiful way and also in a very educational way to prove us that if you believe in yourself go through the process engage into the meanings and the means necessary for that process to go well then there's nothing there to stop you. Then it's only a matter of time. You showed us that it's truly possible and I think that's freaking amazing thanks aria thank you very much.

Aria, you were amazing, in 13 years of practicing and being a huge fan of MMA, I have never EVER seen anyone put together coherent striking the way you did, it's like your coach said, if you'd have had a little more time, learned to roll a little more, you would have known to fight the hands of that guillotine or roll your way out of it, and once free of it, your striking was already good enough to at least out point that guy, if not actually knock him out. Kudos dude, I honestly hope you try it again, I'd love to see what you could do with more time in the gym.
