I'm surprised abou that as well. 710 is. 91% percentage score! But I guess they tagged this score as "low" because when you compare it to the score of other Indians that come from IT backgrounds it is relatively low

Convert it to US GPA using WES GPA converter service. You need to pay for it. You'll get a 3.3. Nobody will hold a 3.3 in electrical engineering against you. Kellog becomes a target school automatically.
Hello Sandy and John, I kind of have the same problem i.e. the low GPA. This is my profile: I am Jay, and I am an undergraduate student studying at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. I am currently pursuing the IPM (Integrated Programme in Management). It is a 5-year program which awards an MBA degree at the end of 5 years. However, there is an option to graduate in the third year with a BA (Foundations in Management) degree. Ours is a very diverse program, and we are taught Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science (Coding), Ethics, Sociology, Psychology, Law, Critical Thinking and a lot more. I am a 20-year-old student and graduate with my BA degree in 2022 March. IIM Indore is one of the top 5 B Schools in India. The Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) is the most selective Undergrad program in all of India. Around 24,000 people and more apply to IPM, but only 120 make it. I do not have a great GPA; it is currently at around 2.50/4.33. However, I'm aiming bet We are graded on a curve (all of our subjects). Our school, IIM Indore, has a Triple Crown accreditation - Equis, AMBA, and AACSB. I am aiming for a GMAT score of 750+. It is expected. My work experience: I have interned previously in the Ministry of Defence. I was reporting to the Director of the concerned lab. I am on my way to get a research internship at a university in Europe in 2021 summer, but I am also looking for opportunities to intern elsewhere in 2021. I am also a volunteer at an NGO in India, which helps rural and tribal people. We built them a road and distributed free meals during the COVID 19 lockdown. I am a core member of the Student Activity Council at my university. I am a member of the Investment Analysis Club, Gaming and Coding Club, Music Club in my college. My sports achievements: I am a national level swimmer in India. I had participated in and won many national and state competitions. I was known as a swimming prodigy. I started swimming at the age of 2. My interests: I like music, trading and investing, stock market analysis, boxing, and powerlifting and learning new languages (I can speak 7). I want to get into deferred MBA programs. My target schools are HBS 2+2, Stanford GSB Deferred Admission, Wharton MBA Advance Access Program, Yale SOM Silver Scholars Program, Chicago Booth Scholars Program, MIT Sloan MBA Early Admission Program, Columbia Business School Deferred Enrollment program. Please let me know about my chances here, and tell me what all can I change or add or implement to make my profile look better and more attractive to these B Schools. I have always wanted to do an MBA from the best B-schools in the world, and I hope I am cut out for it (I will work towards it). I am determined to bag an admit in the deferred MBA programs, especially HBS 2+2, Yale Silver Scholars, Advance Access programs in Stanford GSB and Wharton. Please help me figure out my chances to get into these schools and bag an admission. Thank you.
@@JayNarayanan I'm also having the same issue with the CGPA mine is 6.33/10. But in this case I'm just finishing my BE. Trying to apply to IIT through GATE. Just because I can get into a feeder school list. So there are any chances of me getting into HSW deferred program. But in your case I would tell you to complete your MBA from IIM. Where your course is MiM according to overseas. Try to apply the deferred programs but twist is HSWCM won't buy your story. Maybe Chicago booth, Kellogg or Yale SOM could do. If not try getting into one of the consulting, marketing companies after certain amount of work experience. You can maybe apply for Columbia inclusive of previous and probably try in EU like LBS, HEC, Insead etc. But you need a good GMAT score which is 770 to cut your GPA. "Known as a swimming prodigy" so much for staying down to earth mr. phelps lol... forget any of the top 7 schools with that low GPA, also the Triple Crown accreditation is for the pgp not undergrad programme, profile is quite confusing with bits of stuff everywhere in every industry, quantity doesn't matter the impact does, also every adcom can see thru the Ngo bs from an Asian applicant, best choice for you is to get done with the Indore pgp after undergrad
710 is a low GMAT....did not know that before watching this video

I guess for Chinese and Indians, especially male engineers, 710 is a bit low.
The average GMAT is around 730 for M7 schools and MBB has a higher threshold. Meanwhile I’d be elated with a 710.
You need 770 for M7 if you're an Indian man with engineering background
It’s not low lol
I love this stuff this is real and helps a lot to prepare
Brilliant video for Indian engineers like me
Cleared plenty of my queries
Would MBB also be looking at his undergrad GPA when it came time for recruitment?
GMAT and B school

Hi bro my CGPA is 6.33 but on WES it shows only 3.0? How?
Sorry bro, My GPA was 7.7 and i converted using WES to US GPA and then it was 3.3
no universities asking the applicants to convert the Indian gpa/cgpa to US equivalent gpa. they want everyone to send as it’s.
@@AnkushSharma-zv5hv You are from what uni?
