    "Don't worry, this exam is actually pretty easy" sent shivers down my spine. Last year my professor un-jokingly told us on the day of our midterm, just before passing out the exam (and with the sickest Russian accent), "it is easy, you will see." ... My cohort hasn't forgotten that phrase, to say the least lol.

    the last time a maths professor told us the exam was going to be easy he had to correct the grades up so much that everyone who had the first of 5 questions correct passed and that question was on the practice exam so most people had learned it by heart. only 3 or 4 people could even write anything on the other questions 😅
