MANUKAU Harbour Fishing - GURNARD Catch & Cook

In this video i venture to one of my favourite little coastal townships. Huia. Located in the Waitakere Ranges on the coast of the Manukau harbour, Home to several of the Waitakere dams and the pathway to the infamous Whatipu. I try a spot ive been wanting to try for years and it proved productive as i hooked a beautiful Gurnard withing the first 20minutes of fishing. I then travelled the short distance to Cornwallis beach and found a spot to prepare this fresh Gurnard . Sit back and enjoy this Gurnard Catch and Cook video. Cheers
