Sittard | Zitterd | Our hometown

This video is about our hometown in The Netherlands called Sittard. The city is situated in the heart of Limburg province, the narrowest part of the province, sharing a border with Germany and Belgium being only a few kilometers away.
Sittard has an impressive central market square with several bars and restaurants like Tapas Cantina, Sol Grill and Luna.
On this market square (De Markt) I proposed to my wife!
In 2008, on that same market square, we started dreaming about a trip around the world. 10 years later, we finally made this dream come true! ((2018 - 2020) So we left our beloved hometown Sittard. (only for a while) And came back in 2020.
Recorded at 4K/2160P with a GoPro Hero 6, Sony RX10 IV and a DJI Mavic pro drone.

Couldn't agree more. We love Sittard. We enjoyed your country as wel! We bought a 4x4 in November 2019 en did a roadtrip for a couple of months. From Darwin toAlice Springs back up to Cairns and all the way down to Melbourne. Just as we where about to drive the Great Ocean Road the pandamic took over. Now we are back at our beloved Sittard!
