Analog with day-date and full numbers time index watches. Absolutely my style. My edc pocket dump are: multiool, flashlight with vertical and horizontal orientation, a lighter, and 2 meter of cordage.
100percent agreed!!, I noticed u gotta jet zippo to!❤, I've been looking for a flint option to ignite, instead of the clik static (destined to DEF. fail...)?, I use a dynavap soo, the twin jet is my goto.
I 100% agree with knife, flashlight, and fire. And I think I might carry the same Zippo. I like my smart watch, so I disagree on that, but I totally get the "timepiece that willl keep time for a month without charging" sentiment. Also, while I don't usually carry it, I love the Bugout. It's fantastic.
I grew up on analog and the love of the art of watches but I'm a complete tech head to do I pull a Schwarzkopf and double wrist Smart/fitness on the left, real watch on the right
Just described what I edc. When I first heard about carrying a small flashlight I thought I'd never use it but I do literally everyday. Also fir the flashlight, consider a strobe option as it can serve as a defensive option.
I don’t carry fire source on my be I have it in my car and at home. I’ve not needed it anywhere else. Knife, wallet, watch, keys, and flashlight are absolutely necessary for me. I like to carry a pen usually, I’ve tried carrying a notebook and found I didn’t use it much but want to give it another go. I’m trying a mini tape measure currently that’s come in handy a few times recently, granted I’m moving soon so it’s good to get quick measurements less than 6 feet for random things
Phone light is actually pretty good and Motorola makes them super easy to activate, so I don't need an independent flashlight. I never need to start a fire, so I don't need a zippo. I need a smartwatch for fitness tracking. Why would I want to wear two watches? Wallet, Knife, 💯. So I'd add a metal barrel pen to your list but subtract the analog watch, fire starter, and flashlight.
I used to edc around 13 knives but now i only edc 10 I got a Powertac Hunstman XLT as my primary flashlight and a Klarus XT1C as my back up and i got 3 keychain lights. I used to have a Nitecore headlamp but gave it to my cousin and now i got my tiny Klarus headlamp back in my edc I used to edc my Year of the Rabbit zippo with an electric lighter insert but now its back to Bic lighters No watch in my edc right now I just use a cheap wallet
I always carry either a benchmade bailout or socp folder, an ekster wallet, and a niteize pen on my keychain. I dont have any use for a lighter on me, but do keep matches in the car along with a tool bag and I have a watch that i dont like to wear. I do have a pocket organizer, like he had in the video but a different brand, but i use it at work to carry a pen, leatherman, tweaker, small adjustable wrench, safery hasp, and dykem marker.
If I’m not at work I just carry a Swiss Army knife loose in the pocket, when I’m at work I wear a dual multi tool belt sheath so I can rock with a little bit of everything all in one little package. With that I carry the Swiss Army knife, Leatherman Blast, a utility knife, and my keys. I forget the brand of the sheath, but I got it on Amazon about 6 months ago when I was sick of carrying everything in my pockets at work, and it’s been working great and made from really high quality leather. I work in the warehouse of a hardware store by the way so having all 3 tools on my belt at all times is just extremely convenient.
I've been EDC-ing these for 50 years. I like to have a Swiss Army knife in my pocket and a Spydercard in my wallet. My fire starter is a peanut lighter on my keychain, along with some Gorilla Tape wrapped around my whistle ( also on my keychain ). I can recommend an Olite baton 3 flashlight. I've been carrying mine for years.

I agree with the watch thing, I have smartwatches but can’t beat my analog automatic watches, those just keep going and allows me to unplug completely.
A $25 Casio digital watch will allow you to unplug as well. I wear automatic watches too, but the reason I spent more than that $25 is not because I get to unplug 'better' than when I wear a Casio F91W.
I’ve seen multiple EDC videos and the guys are usually carrying stuff like these items. Can someone please tell me what men are doing that they need this stuff everyday?? Like how crazy are your trips to target?
Way ahead of you. Oh, and usually have a multi tool of some kind. Yeah all that and a pen ride in my pants daily. Agree with the flashlight stuff too. Phone is not a proper light. In a pinch sure, but when u need a light so much easier so have a real light
No 😂 That may work for you, but the only point I fully agree with is the number one. And even in that one I use a Leatherman Skeletool CM instead of a standard foldable knife becuase most useful thing for me are the pliers, competing with the blade. I really tried with the torch... but it's not for me, not enough use and not big advantages over the phone. The smartwatch really helps me managing calls and notifications on working time. And about the fire... bro, I live in a 4 million people city; no, thanks 😂
I disagree with you comparing a knife to grabbing a pair of scissors because there are times when a pair of scissors is perfect and as a matter of fact I have several pairs of scissors and if I'm putting a kit together I'm going to have a knife and I'm going to have a multi-tool and have a pair of scissors because it would be very difficult to use a knife for example to cut cloth in a straight line or even an to make a circle put a pair of scissors will do that perfectly
