And even then they only really won it back because of the coalition, if the Lib Dems had not of gone into the coalition then I reckon Hughes would still be in the Commons today
This became an anti- gay campaign in the end (against Tatchell), but ironically, the winner, Simon Hughes, came out as gay a few decades later.
