Always honest my friend. Both great. Runyes impressed me and I recently reviewed it. The company has done a huge improvement to their software. Helios 500 is more economical and the company is being very aggressive with price. Software is still the part they need to improve but working on it. All scanners work these days.
@@InstituteofDigitalDentistry i buyed runyes scanner is amazing scanner i love more than my cs 3600 the software of runyes is impressive and intraoral camera to as well nice scaner love it runeyes is amazing.
Let me tell you both of Helios and Runyes is Chinese brand of intraoral scanner, but in China very fewer dentists will choose these two brands, in China only two local brand cover the main intraoral scanner market, one is Shinning, another is Panda Scanner. Helios even haven't got any sells cetification in China. So if you wanna buy a new scanner, i don's think you can get a real recommendation from IDD, i watched their all series of vedios , they have obvious tendency to some brands because they charge for the intraoral scanner company.
Shining I can understand for sure. Panda is an interesting one you mention. Any affiliations? Sorry but you have no idea what you are talking about. both work for single units. helios 500 is newer so perhaps is better overall. full arch, no scanner works without verification jig/photogrammetry/special scan bodies like scan gauages by nexus ios@@gunjitmarwaha4606
I’ve very poor experience in IOS, and i’m looking for my first scanner. I’ve recently tried Helios 600 and Medit i700. First impressions were good with both. But how do they actually work with bridges with 3 or more elements, with implants and so on? I’m so confused, specs seems to be good in both devices, and i don’t know anyone who’s actually realized some prosthetics with Helios 600. What can you say about that? Thank you for all of your interesting works
Congratulations on taking the first step. Both these scanners are good indeed. Medit i700 has been around a lot longer and has arguably better software. Both work however. We have used both to fabricate restorations and reviewed both - I recommend you read our full reviews. Keep in touch if you need further help
Hello Dr, I'm thinking about buying a new intraoral scanner. I have two options Shining Aoralscan 3 and Helios 600. In your opinion which one is better, thinking about Accuracy, speed, software, and maybe number of photos per scanning cycle. Aprecciate your help
Plz doc i searched at your benefit library about any reviews for Helios 500 but i didn’t find anything can you make any reviews for Helios 500 as its price is very affordable
hey there@@mohamedfayez5937 We have not yet had a chance to test the Helios 500 clinically but will soon. I have however tried it many times at expos and I have tested it many times where I can. Honestly, it seems promising. As good as the Helios 600 but now the companies own product. If you are interested in it, my recommendation is get a loaner and try it in the clinic.
Shining, Alliedstar/Helios, Runyes 3DS, and Medit i600 are all great budget friendly options@@NikhilYadav-ih4cm My advice is to try them and see which one you like best

Please suggest helios 500 vs medit i500 ? Which one to go for ?
Helios 500 for sure. Medit i500 was an excellent scanner in its time, but now it is dated.
Is Helios 500 also reliable for implants more than medit 500? Thankyou

Both work frankly. Especially for single units and bridges. Full arch is a different story.@@gunjitmarwaha4606
Thankyou so much for the suggestion . 😊
Trios3 vs helios600 vs arol scan 3 vs omnicam which one to consider buying
TRIOS 3 or Aoralscan 3 lead the pack
Helios 600 is a good budget option
@@InstituteofDigitalDentistry thank you so much
