For those that are upset that I shot an old mature female with a young one, get over it. Aoudad females take on offspring from other females all the time. I do hope this answers the question.
Keith Warren I've been watching you for years brother and just want to say thanks for all you do for the sport I love. You got me into it years ago and I love it!!! You the man brother!
I love how u put up your gear bag !!!! So many times I’ll be watching a video and like a rifle they use , or just wonder what caliber they use on that hunt . Nice to know about all the equipment used . Thank u .
I live in Alpine Texas and it is very close to where this was shot. These animals are a menace to all of the other native species. They were brought here as game animals and have run wild giving other native animals diseases and pushing out others. For instance the Prong Horn got a liver parasite from them. The Big Horn sheep were completely displaced by these invasion of animals. The National park has trouble keeping them out and keeping them from destroying the environment in Big Bend national park. When the rangers trap them, all are killed. Hogs are also out of control here and all over the highways at night.
Been watching your videos for a long time. I remember when you had a TV show and yes I watched it too. Would love to hunt a Aoudad but being disabled and not being able to walk a long way it is had for me to do that. But maybe one day. Good hunting Keith.
Greetings Keith , Great video... Keith can you list the states and outfitters that allows hunting with air rifles. I got my Dragon Claw and would love to go on a hog, deer and goat hunt with my Dragon Claw.
That's how the deer lease I used to hunt was like. My dad worked for the bossman who owned it but they were good friends so we came out alot. Killed a bunch of hogs, Whitetail, mule deer, nice aoudad's too. Almost 6,000 acres of big draws and canyons in the west of Texas
Wayne Hill just in case oneday scope fails or I get a scrub gun. Shooting open sights is a great skill to learn and have. Some of the area's I hunt is thick bush land and a carbine is perfect for that
I was looking into this outfitter and there has been complaints filed with the texas attorney general and the BBB. So anyone looking to book do your homework first.
Garris Adamson these sheep are much like feral hogs and not even natural to the state or country. They were imported as trophy hunts but exploded in population and in Texas they don't even have a season. Nobody bats an eye when it's a momma pig but for some reason get riled up about these sheep.
You made the same mistake that I did and didn't look closely at the URL that was posted. It is Triangle T Outfitters. we both missed the "T". www.triangletoutfitters.com/
Dustin Mittel these sheep are feral and not natural to Texas much less the United States. Nobody cries about shooting the momma pig right? Same thing applies here
These sheep aren't even natural to texas and don't have a season. Much like feral hogs Outfitters that have them of course manage them and take your $$$ to hunt them. Nobody knows how bad they are because they stick to the high mountains. Again they are feral, and the ranch obviously needs to thin them out to preserve a healthy population of other species.
That is a good question for Keith to answer. I don't know much about Aoudad, but there were a group of them together and that one appeared to be the grandmother. Was the yearling hers? If it was, do these animals naturally adopt when the mother dies? I don't know the answer to these questions, but I never shoot deer with a faun. I'd pop a hog though.

After watching MeatEater and and Remi Warren Solo-hunter for a while, you realize that Keith is not only a but hunter, but also SUCH a sloppy cook. Who in gods name would grind up an entire animal into burger and chili, especially a small ewe like that, especially when it went straight on ice. I'm from NZ and we have Tahr (Aoudad are closely related to Tahr, same family within bovidae), and my god do they taste good all year round, no matter the age or gender. There is no way in hell that I'm grinding the backstraps, tenderloins, legs steaks and ribs off those animals. Plus, find it kind of funny that he had to state "on this hunt, we are taking every bit of meat off this animal". On ALL hunts, management or trophy and everything in-between, you should be taking everything off those animals. In the Hunting world, waste is the last thing the non-hunting public needs to know us for, and Keith repeatedly wastes, especially when it comes to introduced species and exotics. Not a fan. Watch Steve, Jani, Cal, and Remi if you want some real hunters.

I just tried to get the web page and couldn't get it to load for the ranch you were hunting on
Greetings Keith , Great video... Keith can you list the states and outfitters that allows hunting with air rifles. I got my Dragon Claw and would love to go on a hog, deer and goat hunt with my Dragon Claw.
Pretty crazy when they have the aoudad and you see the furthest peak is still the guys property!!!!

Does this outfitter still provide hunts? Their website does not work.
I wanna see you and Jerry on a hunt. That would be sick.
Nice shooting.
You mentioned your knives a couple of times, but I never heard what kind they were, they look similar to Knives of Alaska. What kind are they?
what caliber was he using ?
Tough lean cuts of meat work good slow cooked
Man Keith I’m a big fan but idk if I agree with shooting one with a yearling
As I already said in the comments, Auodad females take on offspring from other females if the offspring needs it. Thanks for watching.
How much it will cost me for a trip like that I mean that kind of hunt?
It's meat in the freezer
Do you go for driven hunts some time? Like driven hunt on wild boar ? 😁🐗
I look to you tube for learning not advertising
When is the last time you shot iron sight?
Wayne Hill me never really. Always have scopes rifles. Need to practice shooting open sigbts but.
But...
Wayne Hill just in case oneday scope fails or I get a scrub gun. Shooting open sights is a great skill to learn and have. Some of the area's I hunt is thick bush land and a carbine is perfect for that
Thank you for the reply. I feel the same in regard to scopes.
Can you do a hunt with a savage axis deer rifel
he shot the hog out of the truck! LMAO
I was looking into this outfitter and there has been complaints filed with the texas attorney general and the BBB. So anyone looking to book do your homework first.
Their website is down too. Good on you for researching them. I do that before I hunt with anyone
What town is that in
Fort Davis is the town
awesome hunt but why did you shoot when she had a fawn with her
why not

Big talk.21 minit ad.
Finally shot something not behind a fence
If you wouldn't mind adopting a slightly older individual, I don't turn 70 for a few weeks.
You shot a yew with a baby??
danm
Way cool!
sorry, Keith, but as of January 14, 2018, www.triangleoutfitters.com does not work.
You made the same mistake that I did and didn't look closely at the URL that was posted. It is Triangle T Outfitters. we both missed the "T". www.triangletoutfitters.com/
THank you, Edward English!!! I should have touted the triangle! :-)
Be careful of snakes venomous type Keith
I don't understand why "they"call Australia the "Texas" of Britain, because it is NOT true but I so wish it was...
I assumed different ecosystems, but I guess Australia is getting their version of the first Davis fires.
Great video except what was the point in shooting the mother goat ?
Dustin Mittel these sheep are feral and not natural to Texas much less the United States.
Nobody cries about shooting the momma pig right? Same thing applies here
Hail to The_Rooster hogs are different as they have way more off spring and if he shot the mom he should had gone ahead and shot the baby as well
Did you literally just take the backstraps
Too many ads
I am a fan of your channel but killing a sheep with a yearling is in bad taste.
These sheep aren't even natural to texas and don't have a season. Much like feral hogs

Aoudad sheep will take on a kid from another mother. That's why.

I was going to say the same thing. Very sporting.
The real hunter never shot female animal with its baby .. whats wrong with you kieth 😠😠😠
Abswa Abswa well I can't blame ya there!
Because aoudad sheep females will take on offspring from other females. Can't believe you didn't know that. How many sheep hunts have you been on?

Not a real hunter anyone can go to a hunting farm and get one easy to go in the wild and do it let see how good you are
