CBS Up to the Minute footage (June 12, 1997)

Here is footage from CBS News overnight/early morning news service Up To The Minute, anchored by Rick Jackson and Cynthia Weber. This clip features an appearance by President Clinton, a story on improper campaign donations, rising ATM fees, a quick weather forecast, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls just one victory away from their fifth NBA title after a 90-88 win over the Utah Jazz, a rare horse breed from Russia, a condo complex prohibiting the use of flags, the last M.A.S.H. closed in Korea, multiple sclerosis therapy by bees, a British law banning handgun ownership passed in Parliament, Iraq, a killer in Japan, and suggestions for summer reading.

Those 1991 graphics from the Evening News lead into 2006 - if I am not mistaken for UTTM. It didn't age that well, especially incompatible with other graphics packages (with newer graphics engines) the other programs adopted over that 16 years. And that backdrop behind the anchors is still standing as most of the Newspath newsroom has remained unchanged. It was taken and posted on Flickr dated at least in the last 2 to 4 years.

So even after CBS NEWS launched CBSN now CBS NEWS Streaming back in 2014, and did major upgrades to CBS Broadcast Center to reflect it, they somehow kept this very set up on the NEWSPATH feed past 2014 and into 2015, 2016, and possibly 2017?
I would say that they have had to tear this very look down in those massive studio and control room renovations.
I will admit, the CBS THIS MORNING sign at Broadcast Center stayed up for a good year even after changing over to CBS MORNINGS and moving to Times Square, but I rode past there in June, and the sign was finally changed to CBS NEWS, since they now do CBS NEWS STREAMING out the ole CTM studio, which they renovated.
