The only thing I learned from this documentary is ...the world is unfair. I have been for 10 years in this region and the sorrow and the agony of the people can't be defined by the politicians.
Obama was strategically placed in the presidency because of his color. he did absolutely nothing for the United States he made it worse. He was betrayed as some sort of savior. For me is the worst president in history and probably in the future. He was the Ahvi Zacharias of presidents!!
What I learned is that Bibi knows deeply that negotiations based on reasonability won't get him where he wants to go. For that reason, he will keep doing what he does well, which is lobbying and hyping until his audience grows enough to the point when reasonability gets lost in the cracks and his unreasonable goals become a basic necessity.
Absolutely. He heard what he wanted to hear because he didn't like any idea of compromise or notion that he was wrong; and for Obama to suggest any peace process that gave Palestinians any dignity was unbearable to Bibi.
@@kingy002 First, there was no one in that land, they were part of Jordan like most Palestinians are, why don't they claim land from Jordan, if Jordan and part of Syria were also part of British Palestine? This is a great documentary. It left out however how Jewish settlers continued to encroach upon Palesinian lands after the Oslo agreement was made, leading to the second Intifada.
@@adelj4984 I thought his remarks showed zero consideration for the possibility that he was wrong. Honestly he struck me as some guy who wanted to be in politics, worked his way up, got what he wanted, thought his job was like the real-life version of The West Wing TV show, but had no concept that the right approach of someone in a responsible position is one of humility and introspection (as opposed to "confident" decisions based on what "everyone knows is right"). @@ratskate9951 I was being sarcastic. I understand the defense of a country's borders and people but these companies have been involved in aggressive regime change wars. That's where I draw the line. Eisenhower warned the American people about the growing influence of the Military Industrial Complex and the endless cycle of war it creates. These companies I mentioned are part of that MIC.
Idk why people in the comments are saying this is such a great, unbiased doc. For instance, they make the war of 1967 sound like a just "victory" without any mention of the violations Israel was committing against the Palestinians. Also, there's no mention of the US support, enabling them to overwhelm the Palestinians who had so many military disadvantages. The documentary glosses over all that as though the Palestinians were attacking Israel unprovoked. They show the leader of the PLO (presumably) saying "kill the Jews" but ignore similar statements by Netanyahu. Israel had no intention of honoring the Partition Resolution from its beginning, but the west (and this doc) has turned a blind eye to decades of encroachments and human rights violations. If we are to see a full picture of Netanyahu, we should see him in his long game: the provocateur, not his preferred image; just a man seeking refuge for his people.
@øranuto husband I think that for a 90-minute documentary that the producers have compiled as much as they could. There is this unpleasant little procedure called editing that has to happen. Without it, a narrative would be sustained well beyond the attention span of the average adult viewer. There has to be only as much detail as is necessary to give the viewer a reasonably objectified insight into a situation.
@øranuto husband no doubt. What is troubling is that here in the United States, the media landscape has become less objective. There is still dissemination of facts. But those facts are often spun in such a way as to support some very extremist narratives. Before the advent of 24-hour cable news and the internet it wasn't that way or at least it didn't seem that way. Social media is increasingly defining and setting parameters for the output of mainstream media and that is an extremely troubling development.
Faltu Adda - and did you know Israel has broken all UN resolutions prohibiting, settlements and the persecution of Palestinians. @@UA-camCX9 Agreed. My point being that it would be interesting to follow up with a similarly thorough program on the Netanyahu - Trump period. And just as interesting, and crucial, the Saudi- US relationship, which is usually revealed with a 10 year delay.
I can't help but ponder the potential connection between the relationship of Hamas and Netanyahu. Around the 35-minute mark, when Netanyahu was trailing in the polls against Peres, an attack involving a bus full of civilians occurred, seemingly benefiting Netanyahu. Similarly, fast forward to 2023, when Netanyahu is grappling with corruption charges and the potential end of his political career, another attack involving civilian casualties, with Hamas involvement, takes place in the absence of IDF on what would typically be heavily guarded perimeters. While it may be coincidental, there is also a compelling possibility of a link. Notably, it's worth mentioning that Netanyahu had reportedly played a role in the formation of Hamas as a counter to the PLO.
It am convinced of it. Too many coincidences. If they can execute Saddam for 200 or so deaths, considering what N has done, it makes a mockery of the ICC, Geneva convention etc. They are just puppets for the American government. This guy deserves life in prison.
Honestly, nothing would shock me at this point. I hold no ill will toward the Israeli people, but only a fool would trust the Israeli government. The Lavon Affair and the attack on the USS Liberty exposed their treachery. Those false flag attempts may have been failures, but has the Israeli government orchestrated any successful false flag attacks that we will never find out about?
Netanyahu and his government consider Hamas an asset; Smotrich is quoted as saying so. So, they have no interest in fighting for the hostages, only the land on which Palestinians have settled. Hamas' terrorism only furthers their cause of exterminating Palestinians and making it seem as if it's a righteous cause. They could have eliminated Hamas a long time ago, if they really wanted to.
There are some who never left LA yet they think that know everything about Alaska. Clinton telling Netanyahu about Middle East is even more ridiculous, as if men were telling women how to deliver babies.
Correct. The many conflicts in the ME are theologican in nature and not territorial. This is why territorial concessions never bring peace. Territory isn't the problem and so it can't be the solution. The fundamental problem is the in-built intolerance in Islam. Until Islam learns to tolerate the Other, there will be no peace in the ME. heard of international law....This right was recognized by the League of Nations, as an extension of the international community, in unanimous vote in favor of the wording of the British Mandate for Palestine. On July 24, 1922, all 51 members of the League of Nations voted in favor of a text stating: "The historic connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and the right to reconstitute its national home in this country are hereby recognized," and this right has been established in international law . Article 80 Chapter 12 of the Charter of the United Nations (1945) is part of the chapter on international trusteeship systems and excludes the trust agreements specified in sections 77, 79 and 81 of that chapter. A school of experts in international law sees in Article 80 the validity of the resolutions of the San Remo Conference (1920) of the League of Nations as legitimizing the establishment of the State of Israel, and not necessarily a resolution 181 that did not materialize. Similarly, the Jordanian annexation of Judea and Samaria in 1950 was not recognized by the countries of the world, and therefore also expired, and therefore the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which designated Judea and Samaria as a Jewish state Some jurists see the provisions of the Mandate as justified in terms of international law for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, since the Mandate recognized the rights of the Jews in the Land of Israel from the Jordan River to the sea and was intended to facilitate the naturalization of Jews in Israel. Their national rights, but only their civil and religious rights..This is what international law prescribes
The argument as to the legitimacy of the State of Israel is also couched in terms of Israel's right to exist. Although Israel has been a member of the United Nations since 11 May 1949, as of 2020, thirty United Nations member states officially did not recognize the State of Israel.

J P Judaism’s revelation narrative wasn’t even from Abraham to followers, the revelation narrative was a public event, which the Torah claimed was after Abraham so if Abraham were to pass this religion down, the Torah would just be one big contradiction, G-d forbid
J P Also, here is one big argument for its divinity that is never looked at unfortunately, but hopefully this will give u a new perspective my guy: The arguments of what religion is true can be easily proven as what the outlier is. For example, every religion has the same story “I spoke to the Creator, ALONE, here is what He said...” without exception, except Judaism. Judaism is the only religion with mass revelation. “3 million people heard G-d speak”. How can this be passed from one person, or even a group as a legitimate religion if no one ever met these people. Additionally, the only way to work around this is to say people heard that 3 million of there ancestors heard Him speak, got their Book of Instructions, then the tradition got lost. However, this can’t work because there has been no such record or even archeological evidence of a lost tradition, therefore immediately making Judaism the only religion to rely on the credibility of 3 million people. Next-what does it say? The Torah, or this immediate outlier that the Jews claim was given to them by the Creator in order to know how the Creation should live, there was prehistoric animals as described in the Book of Creation/“Sefer Bereshit” they were called “taninim gedolim”-giant reptiles. Also, Gemara masechet chagigah p 13a says they were 974 generations before Adam, which is interpreted as prehistoric humans. Also, the infamous age of the earth argument does NOT contradict the Torah for the calculation of the age 6000 years starts from Adam, not the Creation, and the Six Days, are commonly interpreted as sets of period of time. Now, Gemara masechet p12a says that the universe started with a dot that keeeps expanding. Gemara masechet brachot p 32 b says there are 10 to the power of 18 stars in the universe(the Gemara is a critical part of the Torah that’s thousands of years old!) Anyway, not only does Judaism become the only religion that once learned what it actually says, not just the dogma of it from some atheist, not only does it not contradict science, yet its ahead of it, proving to be the only revelation to have legitimacy and only have legitimacy if given by the Creator of this miraculous world. Anyways, the last argument I want to make- because I can explain to you the divinity of this religion forever-is simply look at the Jewish people. From the Greeks, Romans, Babylonian, Persians, Pogroms, Holocaust, more than daily anti semitism, we not only thrive, but have a country that’s flourishing. The Jews owe its survival to the promise the Creator made to their ancestors that they’ll never be destroyed(punished, like any good father, but not destroyed). Anyway, to say this small group of people survived and flourished by chance defies logic and the help of G-d is manifested as literally their only shield.

@incontruth4116 what hamas did was horrendous and barbaric but let's not pretend Israel is an innocent little baby here.

Iys not unprovoked if you think like that you are naif and dont know détails
These is how documentary is made
This is how the lying media makes a documentary for the liberals
This documentary is fantastic, thanks so much for it
@øranuto husband is it? what exactly?
@øranuto husband I know the media has a lefty bias, but at least the documentary was interesting
We need a one state solution with equal rights for all!

I was wondering when someone would make that observation .
It is absolutely not a coincidence!

Similarly, the Jordanian annexation of Judea and Samaria in 1950 was not recognized by the countries of the world, and therefore also expired, and therefore the Balfour Declaration of 1917, which designated Judea and Samaria as a Jewish state
Some jurists see the provisions of the Mandate as justified in terms of international law for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, since the Mandate recognized the rights of the Jews in the Land of Israel from the Jordan River to the sea and was intended to facilitate the naturalization of Jews in Israel. The events and interviews in this are mostly between 2016-2012 just so people know. It's 2020 now and the documentary episode was aired first in 2016. I had to look it up on IMDb so just tryin to save the hassle to my friends :) stay COVID free folks (it's April 3rd rn in the US of A)
Yeah I was waiting for the Trump part
2012-2016. The time goes forward not backward. Yes perhaps the absence of peace means going backward. Nonetheless, it should be written 2012-2016.
Your documentary about Netanyahu, America, and the Road to the War in Gaza was excellent.
Amazing documentary!
“Amazing to think, all the horrors from both sides.... is over this piece of bad real estate in a terrible neighborhood”.
Trump.
Tony Colon Shows that he doesnt understand the world, history or even any of the 3 major religions. Proves that he truly thinks himself as God or doesnt believe in God himself.
moshak 1 True ,Netanyahu is a legend in his own mind!!! Only trying to save his own skin from criminal charges
@Bob 1 and Obama know more then trump? Dude can't even solve the middle East crisis in his 8years in office, no wonder the Zionist people want him to be out of office since he a Muslim/Palestine lover. Nobody goes against the Zionist and expected to get aways with it. 😂😂
Anyway, to say this small group of people survived and flourished by chance defies logic and the help of G-d is manifested as literally their only shield.
thanks for this documentary I learned the truth!
The daring rescue operation in the airport to free several hostages had only one casualty. Netanyahu's brother.
You're conflating 2 hostage rescue operations!
The one you're referring to was in entebbe Uganda where Benjamin netanyahu's brother was killed! This one - with a Sabina airliner on the tarmac was in Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu himself was injured!
diferent airplane.......
Where is Part 2? Where is the rest of the story? The signing of the Iranian deal, the controversial details of the agreement and what is it's current state?
What's more interesting is part 1 and how Isreal got to became a state in the first place. That's what started all this shit.
@@claudeusgothicus6453 so....it's the Egyptian fault then.
As we can see, the DEVIL is in the DETAILS.

@Gary Fletcher while i respect what happened to millions of people during ww2 and that includes jewish population Israel was artificially created state after ww2. And they are doing exactly the same thing with the palestinians.Thats the reason their neighbours hate them. And they have no right to kill anyone either. Warcrime is a warcrime nomather who commits it.And you cannot just go and grab land and artificially create countries US Russia and Britain do not learn from past mistakes
