This makes them more accessible for fast viewing and they do not bounce or swing around as much when you are walking and especially when having to navigate over fallen tree branches or obstacles
I have the Maven B.1 10x42. I bought them in 2020. Great glass. The biggest disappointment for me has been the eye cups. Maven did NOT go all in on eye cups, lol. When they arrived, the right eye cup was cock-eyed and stuck. I had to gently unstick it and it has gotten loose over time. The left eye cup has gotten looser over time as well. So, compared to my Steiner Merlin Pro 10x42, Steiner has far superior eye cups. Seems like such a small inexpensive piece to get right, but Maven dropped the ball. For binoculars that cost almost $1K, having unsat eye cups is a real disappointment.
Hi from Montreal, Not an hunter just a Guy who like to watch nature: just make a crazy move: I Bought from Maven the B1 675$ in special (900$)....... a big guess..... hope I will like them a lot!.. Eye Relief is 18.5mm what I need with Glasses and can operate at -13F with is important for me in Montreal...... Cheers.
Good review. A guy at my range was using these(c1). He just got them yesterday and let me look thought them to check my arrows in the target. His were the 10x42. I am looking more at the 8x42. For mostly tree stand hunting. How’s their warranty compared to vortex?
Would these be a nice upgrade from my vortex viper hds or nah? I'm in thicker brush on and off. Not open fields. Which maven models should I be looking at?
The Vipers are an excellent set of glass. If you were upgrading from a cheaper set of vortex, I'd say go for it. But the difference is negligible between comparable priced maven and vortex glass to my eyes.

I have C3's, truly outstanding binoculars. Don't know of anything close for anywhere near the price. A great company , HQ is in Wyoming.
I bought the B1 and I'm waiting for my doubler!!! so far pretty impress ! :)

It's the same as Vortex's warranty - lifetime and transferable
