Good Review, I started my FPV Journey with a Beta FPV Meteor 75 Pro, but I already had an ELRS Transmitter and some Skyzone V2 Goggles from the Good old days.
Thanks so much! And oh that’s awesome! I started mine on a sim for 6 months, then got the DJI FPV then went to custom builds, I wish I would’ve gotten a kit like this first tho
u ever find your beard hair tied up in the rotors? lol its a known issue, also just started an FPV journey, got the DJI NEO, then got the AVATA 2 and realized, i love FPV, probably soulds gone with this instead, but i do plan to make a DJI O4 drone, exactly this size
when flying the Aquila outside, I found I had problems "seeing" into shady areas from sunny areas. meaning I once almost hit a dog that was under a tree because as I was flying into that shady area, I had no idea anything was there. once in the shade then I can see fine. I wonder if an ND filter would help with that?
awesome video, dont know a lot about this but is there any upgradability? btw its cool that you bring people who dont know alot about drones to show it off
Thanks so much! And absolutely! The controller and goggles can be used with other drones that use Analog video signal and Elrs radio signal (if you look it up it will make sense) and the drone can be used with other controllers and goggles. The controller does support liftoff and any other drone sim you can get on your computer! Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it! And feel free to reach out with anymore questions!
250$ but all parts are potato quality. Got DJI fpv for $520 comes with 2 batteries, controller, and goggles(with battery). Just mastering the panic button will be the best way to learn. All of this is backwards compatible, so getting a avata 1 + battery only cost 300 dollars
How are all the parts potato quality? I’m not saying it’s the perfect fit for everyone, but when you take into account price, and the fact that if you crash the DJI fpv drone (the potato) you have to pay a few hundred bucks to fix it, or fix it yourself, which is miserable, I know because I’ve done it. This drone is good for people who want to keep their entry price to FPV low and learn how to fly, while being able to crash over and over again. You’ll have a much better time learning on this kit than knowing if you crash a DJI product one time it’s done for. Plus in the US you have to register the DJI fpv drone and you can’t fly it inside. For learning I would recommend this drone over the DJI fpv, and then if you already know how to fly id never recommend the DJI fpv, the only DJI fpv drone id recommend is the Avata 2.
@@JonnyTrego I had several FPV drones from these kits. They have a flight time of 3-5 minutes, mind you this is a major downside for those who are trying to learn FPV. They don’t have a panic button which will prevent the crash, so you get your cheap 100-200 dollar drone broken, then must repair it. Learning soldering along the way and waiting several weeks for Chinese parts to ship to you. Your audience would spend most of your time repairing the drone than flying. DJI fpv drone just the shell sells for 200 dollars online. Same does the avata one. They have the panic button, so you save on the repairs and not waste time on repairs. They have a return a return to home as well. I have literally quit fpv because the endless amount of hours I was spending fixing than flying. Then the left over controller and goggles are virtually worthless in second hand market. Meanwhile DJI in second hand market has a lot more value. For beginners DJI drones are the best to learn and have greater value in second hand markets. Just buy used old drones.
@@keithpederson3629 always make offer. They all want to sell it fast. If everyone is at market price then it’s harder for them to sale. I got a sweet deal I wish I can show you the link, but look at sold items. You will see the actual price.

You can put a Runcam Thumb Pro on this and use it for real estate indoor flight.

Thanks so much! I appreciate it!

It possibly could help with it but i think it would be hard to attach an ND filter to the aquila
hello! cool upload, godspeed~ ;)
Thanks so much!🙏🏼
can you just get another drone if it breaks
Real estate with this over the Avata 2??
No not for professional projects but if you’re wanting to learn to do that style of flying then this would be perfect

Where did you find dji fpv with 2 batteries, controller and goggles for that price? Cheapest I found was $519.00 for drone only.
