As you note, there's so much filtering going on with info to maintain the SIN. Which is a sign of the both the application of narrative in hindsight AND acknowledgment that despite that there's still incredibly little evidence. Your conclusions are not supported by scholarship. There is no evidence of interpolations. This is one of the many writings around that time that confirms the dome of Abraham.
Of course there is. In fact, it's generally accepted that the Appendix to the Chronicle was written by at least one author, probably more, none of whom are identical to the original writer of the chronicle. The Appendix is however the place where we find the reference to the Arabs.

He has a wide range of experience in various fields and has collaborated with other scholars from all walks of life, historians, Arabists, archaeologists, linguists, etc. His breadth of knowledge is so vast, that he is uniquely qualified to synthesise the results of scholars from various fields. He is an expert in the critical analysis of ancient texts and if there's anyone who is qualified to tackle topics like this, it's him.

Yes, a glaring mistake in the narration - to say that Medina/Yatrib is the place iof Abraham's altar (when that is supposed to be Mecca) is proof of the interpolation - he couldn't even get that right! Thanks for this!
Your conclusions are not supported by scholarship. There is no evidence of interpolations. This is one of the many writings around that time that confirms the dome of Abraham.
Of course there is. In fact, it's generally accepted that the Appendix to the Chronicle was written by at least one author, probably more, none of whom are identical to the original writer of the chronicle. The Appendix is however the place where we find the reference to the Arabs.

He has a wide range of experience in various fields and has collaborated with other scholars from all walks of life, historians, Arabists, archaeologists, linguists, etc. His breadth of knowledge is so vast, that he is uniquely qualified to synthesise the results of scholars from various fields. He is an expert in the critical analysis of ancient texts and if there's anyone who is qualified to tackle topics like this, it's him.
