All those leaders have died long ago and now we have newer generation politicians. Forget all those old relations. They are good for hand shakes only. Always keep watch. I hope India administration doesn't put all the egg in the QUAD basket. China military incursions are an issue, it's hard to believe in the QUAD squad, no offend to them but they are just politically and profit driven rather than morality. In this Arrangement India is just a Customer they rather sell Weapon but not Technology Plan. So i guess Innovation by ourselves is better but it will take time there's no other choice. Also the QUAD partnership on Economic Basis also fail because all four members trade mostly with China itself.

Security concerns regarding Russia are direct concerns for Japan and by extension the US (due to formal defense treaty). There are disputed islands. There's a clear Russian/ Chinese alliance forming. There are aggressive Russian military exercises all of which are directly related to Russian expansionism. It's also clear that India will "side" with Russia, rather than the other QUAD members.
The QUAD isn't a security alliance. India lacks the capacity to provide anything relevant to one even if it were. Japan is currently forming a pacific military alliance with various other countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and the US (among other potentials). India is being excluded. The corresponding economic and technological development will form within THAT new alliance and "the QUAD" will gradually be marginalized.

Just as the NATO's article 5 states that attack on one country will be considered as attack on all countries in NATO. Since the QUAD is considered as the Indo-Pacific NATO, if in future China invades Taiwan and America intervenes and China attacks America, will the other three countries of QUAD be drawn in the conflict.

Anyways so when I was in this military ceremony with the speech that sounded too familiar. And the fact that it was freezing and so the kids all were with their arms inside their shirts. Even family adults. So then theres a man who really is missing his arms ...he walks around the venue and I'm not sure how the grown ups felt with their hands in their shirts. A moment that for me turned into asking about who messed with that thermostat. And if that's part of the COVID prevention. ..ummm awkward !!!!
