I had to look him up, I am not familiar with Duskmourn cards yet. He's their Chucky reimagined eh? Seems like a good spec to me. His ability seems like one you could have some great fun with.
I've always been curious how the different print rates and having a limited number of discrete possible cards would come together with pull rates in packs and trends toward hitting 100% on a set so these data points are very interesting to the part of my brain that likes to track things for no real reason. I plotted completion so far for R/U/C (skipped the BL because they're only in starters). Commons followed a decent 3rd order polynomial through completion. Uncommons also have a good 3rd order fit so far but yield rates will probably slow notably after 3-6 more boosters. Should still finish with the uncommons by the end of the box. Rares don't have enough pulls to project a trend too reliably yet, but looking like you'll be around 40'ish percent complete by the end of the box. I have noticed that the packs from outside the box are definitely contributing toward the diversity of pulls compared to where you would be only using packs from the box.
Glad to see someone else who is a metrics fanatic. I'm not so sure I'll finish the uncommons by end of box honestly. I feel like I could for sure, but I'll probably have one or two that elude me. 40% rares is interesting, let's see if that happens. I originally thought the splashing in packs from outside the box pool would have a negative effect over a long run, but remains to be seen. We'll have to look back at this comment when I am opening that third box lol. Glad you're enjoying it!
Yeah the last one or two are the biggest potential hangups. Sometimes they just don't want to show up. And then of course when you finally get one you'll suddenly have a dozen of them...
I’m collecting the Remastered sets, TSR/DMR/RVR. But I’m also collecting 4th edition too!
The Remastered sets are fun, some nice cards in those. How's that 4th coming along?
@@packingthegathering1260 it’s going well! Had to crack some packs to get the nostalgia, but I’m picking up singles here and there now
I just bought 4 Marvins from duskmourn to hold. I think that they are going to rise in price. Marvin the Martian, when he starts to sell for $25.

It's like shopping for a car, all of a sudden you see that car everywhere
