Rabbit and Spine trading archetypes is my favorite bit they've ever done, I think. It's not in enough compilations (probably because most content in this fandom is ancient, but still).
NGL I miss their performances and the dedication to the robotics 😣 I get that stuff evolves over time but it's all so "wacky" now without as much structure and stuff just doesn't land the same way it used to
I didn't realize the difference until I watched this. I still love and adore them but yeah I agree, their movements used to be a lot more convincing. Idk if convincing is the right word but yeah
Well to be fair, they've done this for 15 years, aren't exactly college students anymore, and at least one of them has health issues that are going to make the movements way more painful, so. Can't necessarily blame them for not being as exhuberant
@@bagesys7227 sure, but they could still step up their comedy, costuming, and what other pantomime they're still capable of doing. There used to be a lot more sarcastic wit in their act, which has been replaced with a SpongeBob-esque wackiness. In some recent music videos, you can see their face paint streaking. Not to mention, standing still and periodically gesturing in a stiff way is something that 90% of the population can do, disabled or otherwise. I just think approaching the act with a more mature lens would really elevate it.
The best part of the "Robot powers activate" bit is how unlike Rabbit and The Jon, Spine just looks confused, like he didn't know that was a thing

very true, it's hard finding any new content haha
It always makes me laugh with how spontaneous Spine's yelling is
Their patreon seems to be a treasure trove
What really gets me is right after The Spine shouts you can see the real siblingness of David and Isabella bleed through the characters.

I’m so obsessed with the way Rabbit moves into the autism arms position
I’m fucking dying at the part when The Spine screams at Rabbit 😭
'ill be the serious one, you be the. the zany, wacky, transgender robot' this bit killed me 😭😭
I think this is probably the first compilation I’ve seen with the spine screaming at rabbit part , probably one of my fav spg moments
“Not everything is a robot” says the woman who dated a toaster

As a fellow trans woman, I really related to that random "I'm an abomination :)" lol
"thanks for watching me be autistic for 12 minutes" me after watching this video with my sister (autistic spg fans unite)

I was wondering if anyone else noticed. Still love them very much but the older stuff was a lot more entertaining in my eyes.
