Every English video I see about this has latched onto the "aging" part, and (understandably) extrapolated the idea that the young would no longer age up. This is probably a mistranslation, or at least a cultural difference between how English speakers and Japanese think of "aging". In the raws, the devil is specifically called the 老い (oi) devil, which specifically means old, or senescent. This is distinctly different from the broader concept of aging in general, which might be 加齢 (karei), which could encompass maturation as well as senescence. If this devil is erased, the young will still grow up / mature to adulthood, but they would in theory not progress past that point (it's unclear whether this would mean people just drop dead or live forever in their prime)

I think there is a difference between aging and development. Aging is the wearing out of cells where development is the process from going from a zygote to a mature human. So, if that holds I think removing aging would just be a benefit to humans other than the obvious result of over population. Not having mouths however I have no idea how that would work. How would we get food to our stomachs? Yeah sacrificing kids is not good. If they really want aging then they can fight it and feed the wounded aging devil to Chainsaw man.

I’m just glad this means Yoshida is probably dead, maybe, hopefully, ever since he was first introduced that guy has been WAY too strong and gotten away with way too much for free that seeing him just walk up and restrain Chainsaw-Man and undo the damage caused after all that buildup was beyond infuriating and I kinda hold him as responsible for Denji reaching this point as I do Barem. Public Safety is forcing him to do all this, and he expressed regret for chopping Asa's arm off, and I imagine he also had some regret chopping up Denji, because he was backed into a corner to transform, breaking the deal he had with public safety.
I hope there's more but tbh this feels like the end to me. I don't think it's like, REALLY close or anything but it may be 30 to 40 chapters before we reach the end imo.

I think if pochita eats the aging then he'd eat the fear concept of aging like people dont fear being kids but people fear being old like supper old so i gease people will stop aging at teenager or adult and stay that way till forever

I think there is a difference between aging and development. Aging is the wearing out of cells where development is the process from going from a zygote to a mature human. So, if that holds I think removing aging would just be a benefit to humans other than the obvious result of over population. Not having mouths however I have no idea how that would work. How would we get food to our stomachs? Yeah sacrificing kids is not good. If they really want aging then they can fight it and feed the wounded aging devil to Chainsaw man.
Good point and one that I wouldn't have pointed out myself. The only reason I would think it's something other than a positive for humanity is that the government are going about it in such a sleazy way, which makes a backfire feel inevitable. I might be wrong though.

I would lean towards Yoshida being alive, just because the devil had already emerged from him and ran free by the time pochita was able to get his hands on it. The devil isn't a part of Yoshida's body or anything like that.

I’m just glad this means Yoshida is probably dead, maybe, hopefully, ever since he was first introduced that guy has been WAY too strong and gotten away with way too much for free that seeing him just walk up and restrain Chainsaw-Man and undo the damage caused after all that buildup was beyond infuriating and I kinda hold him as responsible for Denji reaching this point as I do Barem.

@@King_Zer0dNahh, Yoshida seems pretty resigned in this latter half of part two. He was a lot more lighthearted, even during the aquarium arc. Public Safety is forcing him to do all this, and he expressed regret for chopping Asa's arm off, and I imagine he also had some regret chopping up Denji, because he was backed into a corner to transform, breaking the deal he had with public safety.
I think is the end BUT of Part 2 not the whole series.
I hope there's more but tbh this feels like the end to me. I don't think it's like, REALLY close or anything but it may be 30 to 40 chapters before we reach the end imo.

I personally believe this chapter 2 is the ''transition'' to the final chapter, this feels like a HUGE set-up that, probably will have a pay-off at the end of it just to start a new final chapter. the old people from japan, german, china, america depends on the younger generation from work, tax, and care. by erasing the old ageing concept there's no need for newer generation to sustain the already aging population. no need for elderly care, high tax from the younger, organ harvest, nor war.
so in a sense it works as a bet. betting on the sucsess and erasing the concept of aging. or not having younger demography (all for nothing) if the devil is regurgitated.
