- action scenery on a less than perfect day
a rare visit from myself , some 20 years ago
I had no great desire to visit other airport , since the action at my home airport was more interesting : vintage early jets , twilight years !
still a lot of 747 / MD11 / DC10 and a few 757 /767
SCHIPHOL AMSTERDAM AIRPORT
Hi handsome you could always be dependent upon to get all the great shots of things soon to be gone and I’m glad I’m the first to comment. Love you very much and love from all of us where your reaching us on Staten Island, New York.
i went especially to visit the aviation megastore , and decided to stay that day , i did buy a 1/200 DIECAST model of the mighty Tu-114 from Aeroflot as well as some other stuff
@@patrickvereecke6654 i’d love to see it. Do you think you could show it to us and I don’t think it was fair that you only gave a brief introduction on just that one video I expected to see a whole lot more. Love you and love from all of us on Staten Island, New York.
@@user-fu9uj7gr4u what do you mean, Debbie , liveries are obvious , but in this case most registrations are unknown, was too busy filming , this was continuous activity , Schiphol is one of the busiest airports in Europe , different runways as well
Patrick a beautiful video of a change of pace from Ostende and lots of air traffic of passenger and cargo. The Airport looks great but very tight on the apron for aircraft movements. The Dutch do a great job of shifting aircraft on the apron safely. Patrick a beautiful video of Schiphol another nice airport.Have a great week and catch you on the next flight.
i am not sure if this spot is still available , anyway times have changed , a lot of Airbus today
Thanks Patrick

Was the Polderbaan operational when the video was taken?
@@ericdunn555 HI Eric ,those clips were recorded from the KAAGBAAN , i believe the Polderbaan was not open for traffic yet at the time , greetz

Hi Patrick.
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Yep, that footage is of a runway much closer to the central ops area of AMS than the Polderbaan (I've missed connections at Schipol due to the long taxi in from the Polderbaan), though I'm not intimately acquainted with the layout of AMS.
Greetz, E.
Great footage (as always).
Thank you ever so much
for posting it.
Greetz from Ireland.
Glad you enjoyed it
Where’s CAVOK’s AN12? I miss that diesel….
CAVOK was not yet in existence , anyway for AN12's , Ostend has always been the place to be 😉
