I went back and looked at your videos about your detail business. I only really saw one about the products you use. It talked about Ceramic coating and maybe you changing to using it more often. I have a Lot of hard water spots everywhere even on the glass. Should I clay-bar it before you Ceramic coat it’s. What do you use for hard water spots?

Your beard bald spot is called Alopecia. There are two types, scaring and non-scaring. It can be brought on from stress and aging/hormonal, so you might not be stressed at all and just getting old or having too much testosterone. I've had it happened to my beard in the past, but it comes back in time. There are treatments to help it restore.

Yes absolutely document the bodysHopping. Also would be interesting to know why they would need to see it before giving you a quote. Surely what's needed is sanding down and repainting of relevant panels?
To make your air pump a little quieter, cut small pieces of thin carpet and mount between pump and body. Something I did with my mini truck.
I had the same problem with my beard and hair on my head. Lost patches all over. Doc said it was alopecia areata most likely due to stress. A few months of steroid injections and de-stressing aspects of my life and everything is back to normal. Worth checking out!

I have a love hate for my air suspension. I can't drive it either when it's aired out. At normal drive height, it ripped out both my front fender liners. On occasion the internal compressor won't start, and I have to mess with the controls. It makes you very nervous about going someplace far, for fear that you might have to get towed. Then the biggest problem is that the tow truck can't get the car off the ground without damaging the ground effects kit.
I think the wing mounts/struts in that same brushed copper would look bad ass! Love the build! Keep up the great work!

In terms of adressing your rubbing, id recommend going down a tire size. It looks like you are running 265 wide tires and going down to 255 wide will help give you more steering angle and will give you a more "fender to lip" look on the cayman. I wouldnt usually recommend stretching tires, but since this is a widebody stance build I figure you guys wouldnt be too against the idea.
Professor of Biobehavioral Health here...the hair issue is almost certainly alopecia areata. I've had the exact thing happen myself. It is very common and you'll likely start to notice that many other people have varying degrees of it. What happens is that immune cells start attacking the hair follicle and they can become discolored and/or completely fall out. The research world doesn't know why this happens (stress is often cited, but the data don't back that up at all...). The hair loss typically starts being visible in Jan or Feb. The most common outcome is that the hair will start growing back within 12 months. People will ask questions because they haven't been educated on the topic (e.g., "did you donate your hair to science?") and there are TONS of opinions on the internet on how to treat it. Almost none of them have any data to support them so take everything with a grain of salt. If it becomes a much bigger issue see a dermatologist (they may recommend getting some shots to reduce inflammation in that area), but otherwise keep cranking out the awesome videos. Love the channel.

That's interesting to hear that your Cayman had the front "clear bra" that stopped about halfway up the hood from the factory. Mine has that too, but I just assumed a third party had installed that at some point. That leads me to wonder, did you take off the paint protection up front? I've been wanting to take mine off and wrap the whole car in clear bra, but I don't know if removal is an easy process or if I would damage my paint in any way (or if I need special tools that you guys have).
EDIT: You guys asked if we wanted to see anything content-wise from you; I personally would like to see a lot of Cayman content now that the majority of the build is done (drives, launches, etc.) but I understand that with the wheels rubbing the widebody its harder to drive and turn.
Removing clear bra can damage paint, depending on how old it is. Ideally, a steamer is used to loosen the adhesive, and it "should" come off. Then there's the leftover adhesive that still needs to be removed with an adhesive remover and some elbow grease

Copper chrome those headlights! I see a lot more people baking and removing the outer shells to paint the inside where it's chrome. Since you have a chrome base, if you have a candy copper to put over that it would be incredible! I'd highly recommend a paint shop does a color match for you to the wheels but it would be a huge wow factor! My 06' Cayman S I'd really like to either 997 front swap it or do the same to my headlights but leave the oval 911 circle and do the rest either in black or speed yellow body color to give it a 911 look.
Fix the holes w ramen, it’s really cheap and it works great
I think you should try to make the badge on the hood copper as well, I think it would be a nice touch

10:48 The thing on your beard is a kind of alopecia ‘hair loss’ on the beard my friend had it couple of year ago. The docter said there is some basic treatment to it but in general it just grows back. Nothing serious ur good mate. Keep working on that sexy caymen 😊

I gotta assume you are going pandem big wing. I too am trying to pick a wing for mine, I think the Gt style wing fits well onto standard body cayman or maybe ducktail mine is more vintage feel.

Looks absolutely amazing, you may not realize how great it looks.! Your steering problem can be solved all with tire size which I am sure you do not want to do. Body shop wise JR garage in Arizona uses a body shop owned by Russian gentleman that specializes in Ferrari’s and Lambo.I would ask if I were.you there cars seem to turn out great. I think they use another shop that may be lower priced that did a Mercedes for them which looked great also.

Best looking Cayman on UA-cam so far! Nice job! Besides the rubbing problem, how does the Cayman drive with those wider and heavier wheels? I couldn't stand the heavy feel of the HRE 20" wheels on my 987 CS so I promptly got rid of them. Your wheels seem to be wider and heavier yet.

alopecia areata is what happen to me. And pretty sure it s the same thing you have. Go to a dermatologist sooner then later. All my beard and hair fell out in small circle patches but some came back pure white. Hope this helps.
