I’ve found Preludio Alkaline to be a strong cleaner and it works great on cars that are too dirty for just a quick Rinseless wash. I use a 1:10 dilution and find it cleans real good. I hope you do a future video with your experience at this dilution. I didn’t know the Italians can play baseball because they hit a Grand Slam with Preludio. Gets my vote for most innovative new product of the year!
Appreciate the comment my brother!!! 😂😂😂 Italians playing baseball. Yes I've heard 1;10 works great same as 1:15 like primus on how I use it heard it works well. I will most likely try 1:15 as you know I'm trying to save myself money and everyone else. Also this isn't something we will use every wash just depends on the filth. Definitely an innovative product for sure 💪💪💪. Part 2 video coming out tonight.
DOC SOC putting in the work 💪🔥😎. I haven't tried the labos line yet. I do have Idrosave but haven't used it yet. I may have to rewatch this a few times 😂. Appreciate you brother 🙏
Yoooo my brother you already know putting in that work 💪💪. I also have a part 2 video. It'll be out tonight. There it's less scientific and just using it as its intended. Vs this video on seeing how well it cleans vs other rinseless washes and seeing if one did remove minerals to unclog vs the other. 💪💪
Thank you 💪💪. Yes I've heard of people having issues with Idrosave. I think with this method since the acid or alkaline is on the paint already it'll balance the strong polymers and Sio2 of Idrosave. 💪💪
Great video Soc! I picked up some of the alkaline preludio after Eddie reviewed it. I use it with DIY Rinseless and have had great results when I don’t have time to foam ad rinse an APC. Great product!
Thank you my brother. Great to hear yes I see myself using preludio alkaline more as well. I've heard 1:10 works great and 1:15 that'll be my next dilution. Once my pre mixed gallon runs out. 💪. Definitely better than spraying an APC for sure.
Preludio is meant to be sprayed on as a pretreatment and then without rinsing it off, you would go straight to your preferred rinseless wash as your contact wash and then dry. Working panel by panel, you can hit the areas with a lot of traffic film with Preludio alkaline and any areas prone to water spotting with Preludio acidic. If your going to spray on and rinse off, then your better off with Primus and Purifica which is made for this.
@@bris3513 absolutely. I commented it on someone’s reply. I just had the hose out and was doing this as demonstration purposes even with the acidic one I said this as well. For demonstration purposes to see the beading and see if it really says what it does. Watch the full video. Then comment. I said for demo purposes. You can spray preludio alkaline and spray acidic on top of that then do your contact wash. 😂😂😂.
@@seabrew1 people don’t watch full video I see. Where I say this is for demo purposes. No need to rinse off preludio for F sake. 😂😂😂 Watch the video I disclose even on the acidic part it’s for demonstration purposes where I am rinsing off. For the alkaline same thing to see if the same effect that happened on the trunk happens on the hood with the bird poop. The trunk rinse was comparing just a rinseless vs the alkaline if the pretreat is better To see if the water beading is still there or helped.
@@DetailingMadeSimple Not trying to give you a hard time. I think what some are saying is that they would rather see how the product performs in the intended use by spraying preludio on the panel, do the rinseless contact wash and then towel dry.
@@bswan25 it’ll work just fine. If used the way it’s intended to. Just demoing the properties and see if the products do what they say it does. Does it eat the water minerals and improve beading. Let me rinse and see if just contactless does it work. Alkaline how does it eat through traffic film. It’s a demonstration. Use it as intended my purpose is too see if it’s a redundant chemical being sold as two different products and 2 different scents. I will make a video in the future on its intended use. I hope Jo one ask how do we know if the rinseless alkaline or acidic does what it does. I’ll just say I used it as intended. 😂
Soc with all the new fashion statements. 😂 thanks for testing this out. So it’s not really a system just rinseless helpers. So u can’t use them together spray on both then wash but I supposed then the acidic would neutralize and not do its job. Interesting. I haven’t tried either one yet. But that alkaline one looked like it did work! 💪 This could be a great help in winter time.
The new fashion statements 😂😂. Yeah things were getting loose, yeah you can say a system/rinseless helpers depending on your need. Kind of like a polishing system 🫡. Don't always need a wool pad to polish the vehicle. The alkaline one is the most ideal one. It's a once every 2-3 washes or super dirty you'll use it. 💪
Preludio has sodium hydroxide in it, so care with use. With Idrosave, can the sponge staining be related to poor dirt removal when dunking the sponge in the rinse bucket? Never used it, but that seems a possible reason. Cheers for the demos
Yes I have read that as well. Definitely always use Ppe minimal gloves for sure 💪. most polymer rinseless you'll get staining but the grit and dirt is actually removed and emulsified. I have a part 2 video coming out. But if you use a hybrid rinseless like Hero, DIY Rinseless, Eco wash, Hydra etc you'll get more of that dirt of as they are pure cleaning rinseless with no protection vs Idrosave its polymer heavy and has sio2 protection which I think is also a factor in the staining of wash media. 💪 Stay tuned for part 2 on just using the product as is with no science/demo just more of using it the way it's meant to be. 💪
That's very hard to say to be honest. The best cleaning chemicals on the market that I enjoy using is of course Labocosmetica. As for polishing and DIY all around I'll go with DIY Detail as they have polishers, rinseless washes, sponges, Polish and pads. I like incredible suds better than semper and DIY rinseless is to me a bit better than Idrosave as it's a pure cleaning rinseless and I really enjoy the gold standard polish as that's pretty much 80% of my workflow. Because we mainly just do one steps and on harder paints I just mix gold standard with a heavy cut compound to make it a nice one step as my previous video I showed. Not one brand makes the best everything. Depends on the task at hand. Hope this helps 💪💪
When you do a rinseless so you normally hose down after you pre treat the car? In general im using diy and absolute? So I’m wondering if I’m doing it wrong
@@jonathanmariani5627 there is no right or wrong way. Think of it as if you’re using soap. If your vehicle is covered in mud heavy dirt and grime. You’ll mostly spray on first then rinse. Spray again and do the contact wash. Same goes with a rinseless. If you don’t have access to water most people pre treat with rinseless then rinse off again with rinseless the contact wash. I know it’s sounds like a long process with no running water. But if you wash the vehicle once a month that is what you’ll expect to do may take an extra 20 minutes doing it that way. But if it’s weekly spray rinseless and contact wash all depends on the amount of heavy dirt and grime. What most people say if you feel like you’re going to scratch the car then most likely you are. If you’re comfortable and know you’re not then you’re in the green 👍. Hope this helps
You don't have to. I just did it to compare it to a rinseless to see how well it cleaned and if removed the film and see the water beading. Which I showed on the trunk and hood. Also a rinseless doesn't mean you don't rinse before the contact wash. If it's needed do it. Rinseless means you don't rinse after the contact wash. Also With this method you don't have to at all. Think about your spray with the sprayer alkaline. Now you are spraying acidic or if you want to go straight rinseless spray your regular rinses. Guess what you're practically rinsing off the preludio before the contact. Hope this helps 👍
Lolol the entire point of the Preludio and Labo system is that it's a rinseless method. Why would I want to see how something cleans using a hose to rinse? I could use an APC that's 1:20 the cost.
Rinseless means you don't rinse after to dry the vehicle. Doesn't mean you don't rinse as a pre treat. I only used the garden hose because I had it there. You can rinse again with more rinseless if needed. APC are good but they leave a thick film behind when rinsing but definitely more cost effective. This isn't something you'll use all the time either.
@DetailingMadeSimple the ENTIRE POINT of preludio is as a rinseless wash process. Considering Idrosave is trash if there's buildup on the surface, I really want to see how it works in that process.
