I loved doing braids when I was still a loose natural, but they were never as small as yours. My arms are not as strong as they used to be😂😂😂 that is why I am falling in love with my locs daily, I leave them alone most of the time and they are teaching me patience. And the new growth is absolutely beautiful. All the best on this journey!
I did mini braids from August. I would refresh every 6 to 8 weeks. Finally, I took them down this past weekend. Did my hair grow? FOR SURE...I doing mini braids again right after Xmas.
I will be joining you on the mini braids challenge. I have tried soft locs for four months before and i experienced growth and thickness. I was aiming for 8 months but i started missing my hair. I recently lost hair from my widows peak to my center of my head from a vehicular accident was involved in and i hope to do mini braids till it grows back to the length it was and catch up with the rest of my hair. I will start for the new year
Please do hun and I love that you have the experience, you know that it works ❤️🥰💃🏽 I’m so grateful that you’ve healed from that accident and I hope the hair grows back even better! 🙏🏾🥂
Sibonga impilo, sibonga ubuhle bethu, mina ngibonga nobukho bakho kuMdali, sthandwa sam’ ❤️ Thank you hun, enjoy your holidays as well, I can’t wait to see you in the new year
Im rocking my knotless braids Its been 2 months and still counting 😅plan is to take them out after 4 months from the day of installation My goal is to achieve waistlength hair by the end of 2025 We are together ❤❤🎉
Twin!!!!!! 🎊🥂🎉🍾 Where have you been?! The fact that you’re here, is boosting my motivation even more. Let’s reach out goals in 2025 ❤️ It sounds like a plan 🥂
Fellow South African watching from London! Keep going girl! Your hair is beautiful! 🤩 I’m on a chebe journey too and might try mini braids in the new year! Have a blessed festive season x
Chebe is everything! 🥰 I hope it continues to treat us well. Yes please consider doing braids, you’ll loooove it!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you hun, have fun and live your best life in London for the both of us 🥹 sbwl! 😅
Chebe is life😂 I'm also on a chebe journey, i plan to do it for a year alternating between the traditional powder and the grease throughout the year. All the best to us🎉.
I know that your hair will be styled in braids for 6 months, but does that mean you’ll keep these EXACT same braids in for that long, or at some point will you take these out and reinstall? Bc technically it would still be 6 months of mini braids it would just be like a refresh to get rid of shed hair and braid your new growth so that you feel more comfortable
Hey hun, there will be absolutely NO refresh NO rebraiding. The goal is to have as little breakage as possible. The EXACT SAME BRAIDS I started with will be the EXACT SAME BRAIDS I takeout after 6 months
Just be attentive to what your hair says. I wear my hair in braids all year usually and I have to redo them every 6-8 weeks to prevent locking. Two months is the max I can go without redoing them before I’m in starter lock city. And I use the wetline xtreme gel to hold my ends in place typically.
Hey Sis! 👋💖 So thinning on the edges from stress is a thing?? I’ve been stressing from just not getting a break from my children (homeschooling a 5 year old and nursing a 16 month old, and all that comes with being a stay at home mom) and my edges on the right side thinned out a bit. I am SO careful with my hair, and I rarely manipulate my edges to keep them in tact, and this happens! My husband said it was stress…so I guess that’s a thing…🥴 Love your hair! I cannot wait to see your take down! 🥰❤️
@@zinhle.africa i have a client that wore her locs for 33 years. i combed her locs out in 2 days. how hair is gorgeous healthy n very long and so thick. why? she took care of her locs, with herbal ingredients.
Hey hun, I’m not as consistent as I would like but this month I’ve been trying my best. They are amazing, I would highly recommend as long as they’re done consistently

@@zinhle.africa Ignore them, Love. They know nothing about length retention for our hair type.🤗😉
