Great job! I'm sold. Leveling a Conjurer just went from somewhere on my Grim Dawn to do list directly to the very top. #1 with a bullet, as grandpa always said.

Sick build :O Regarding devotions, I noticed from the grimtools link that you can remove the blue crossroads point from the final build. You could put it in Obelisk for additional DA and armor. Or maybe, since there's one leftover point, you could get Panther instead of Eel (as if those pets need additional power lol).
Actually you can improve this build a bit. Remove the blue point from the crossroad (gives + 18 def) and put in obelisk of menhir for + 30 def and 150 more armor. Also you can take a point from mend flesh and put it in hellfire aura for another over 30 def. And if you want you can take points from mesh wound and place them in the biarthorn aura - embroidering presence (lv 14 or lv16 if you can reach it).

Necro / occultist is just fine. While blighty taunts and tanks, you have the familiar, skeletal servant doing fine and with the skele devotions and management they do fine. You may need to resummon some but the casters in particular drop some fireball love and with frailty, mobs drop quickly.

Can you please answer this. I started playing a PET build. I wanted to activate Mogdrogen's pact for resistances from oak skin and health boost from heart of the wild. I placed all 10/10 points in heart of the wild (26% health boost) but it didn't boost the health of pets only mine. Is this a bug or it really only boosts my health, not the pets. Thanks.
I made this build (Occ + Shaman) and I didn't knew how strong the build was until I reached Lv 50 when I was running around doing nothing while the pets where cleaning everything in their way.
I can not tell you a special build, but in general i would say any pet build is good at the beginning and also really fast to level up. (Shaman/Occultist, or Occultist/Nekro, or Shaman/Nekro). Than you take every item with +% pet health or pet damage along the way so you get to a decent amout of damage and try to get your resis as high as possible so you have some sustain. If you lack a special resistance you should just avoid areas where most enemies have that kind of damage if that makes sense. Also you can respec these builds later at very little cost and make strong endgame builds out of it when you have a set ready (ghuls, natures call, bysmiel...all of them are OP)

im using beastcallers set and i have the 3 set of bysmiels alot of extra bonuses to pets with the 3 set and 8% health for me with the 2 set i didnt go the wendigo totems i just buffed my familiar more i will say this tho if i had conduit of wild whispers and glyph of kelphat'zoth rings i would definitely use those. overlords iron grip gloves would be amazing i hope it drops for me soon ( ive been looking at a couple pet builds online just to see what kind of gear i should get other than beastcallers. this one helped out alot still undecided about what weapon and off-hand i should try for)
Question: The Bloodsworn codec offhand has +4 to Summon Briarthorn ,but the only ones that drop has +2. Also in the Grimtools I can't see to find the +4. Any pointer here?? Love the build bytheway but my only struggle is the OffHand. Thanks in advance!!

That's very true! And since we've got ~95% pet physical to fire conversion, it does a decent amount here. Its still going to be less than an auto attack from our briar-bros or our primal guy, but its not nothing! Good point.

Sadly, beastcallers is a random drop, so you just have to keep going for high loot density farms. The most efficient way to get the set is to find the blueprint for the cowl (totem farms) then craft it over and over and transmute each piece in the conclave of the three. Happy Hunting!

As in, real summoners. Will never be a D2 necromancer, but oh well. And I've checked some videos and sure, there's certainly a few builds... ALL of them between 1 and 3 years old. Can someone tell me if they're still viable before I fork out mah money? XD I mean, not necessarily only this one, which may be the best (and which a newcomer wouldn't be able to afford), but I was thinking a mainstream skelly necro + ...occultist?... was also decent. Though I see some comments here saying skellies aren't good enough for endgame.
they buffed skellys in the recent patch i believe. I myself am currently making a cabalist (necro/occultist). I made one before but my saves got deleted and i turned off cloud saves to use an inventory mod so im making a new one. From what i hear Skeleton cabalists are good in this patch but the main drawback of skellies is they are squishy, the main reason to use them is they do A LOT of damage. youll likely have to resummon them often cause theyll die often but if thats not a prob for u then go and try Cabalist.

Gloves- Touch of the Everliving Grove would be better, as it offers pets Pierce resistance

The devotion order is just a simple path to get that exact endgame devotion setup. I would use Maya's to level!

You can also recast the hellhound on purpose to make it proc its on-death nuke
