In Yu-Gi-Oh, there’s an archetype called “Masked Hero” that Jaden Yuki used in the GX manga. While the Elemental Hero archetype were based on American super heroes, Masked Hero designs were definitely inspired by the Kamen Rider series

In No More Heroes 3, you can literally hear Travis blabbering about Kamen Rider Zi-O during a cutscene. No one can obviously deny that not being a reference, it's just a straight mention! lol He specifically mentioned the Ibaragi rock quarry where they filmed many tokusatsu shows, and names Zi-O as a straight example.
Travis' new catchphrase "I'm just a passing assassin" is also a refrence to Kamen Rider Decade, SUDA51 has said its his favorite rider series and there's little nods to it all over the series starting with Travis Strikes Again.
Next stop: Disney, of all Western Entertainment Companies, get a shot to reference Kamen Rider. If Warner Brothers and Paramount can do so, then why not?
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne also has a Kamen Rider shout out in the form of its Unique Pose collection. One if the poses is straight up Kamen Rider 1's pose, and to really solidify the shout out, your Palico performs Kamen Rider 2's pose with you.
Captain Falcon (in Smash Brothers) is almost entirely a Kamen Rider reference. While the wiki states the green color is a Wild Goose reference, it's clearly Ichigo in SSB4 and Ultimate.
I figured that out about Falcon back in 07 or so, after I first got introduced to Kamen Rider with Kabuto. Falcon was my go-to main already, but that just made me love the character more.
one detail on mumen rider, the guy sports a mainly brown colorscheme, as since the 2000 revival, brown has been connected with the rare-yet-consistent 'mass produced riders'; the artistic choises are more evident when taking the design side by side with the Riotrooper from faiz and the on-screen effect of the Trial-Series from blade (not brown, but with the light sometimes giving them the hue) and, following after his first creation, the KRMages, the kurokage troops, the Hellbro robot, and most of all, in a weird reference-to-reference, the Ride Players of KREx-Aid
I think the color choice also serves to highlight his weakness. Mumen Rider is there to get beat up, but he will never quit because of his heroic spirit.
Stingmon's final apearence on the show os alongside his partner Ken while they both are detectives that fight Digimon, and is a clear reference to Kamen Rider Kuuga main characters

I think it would be rad to discuss how Madoka Magica and basically Urobuchi's entire career is his attempt to recreate Ryuki. I mean, even his actual Rider Series he was the show runner of was Ryuki with Fruit.
Glad to see reference to Kamen Rider expand further than it was intended. I started watching Kamen Rider W, thats what lead me to the introduction of Kamen Rider. Even as an adult I still appreciate the tone that Kamen Rider tries to show us.

Actually I would like to acknowledge a few more reference to the Kamen rider franchise. -Aside from mumen rider, D-Pad is also a Kamen rider like hero, while not getting enough screen time in mobile game opm, road to hero when you unlock D-Pad you get his two attacks moves, both referencing the rider punch and rider chop finishers. Furthermore, when you switch to his drawing model he will do the exact same pose as Ichigo, and in his description it states that he's "well loved by children" another reference. -Genos while not rider related, has his backstory similar to the showa riders, more specifically Kamen rider V3. -judement, a stand in the world of Jojo bizarre adventure, is designed to reference to Kamen rider and tokusatsu genre. -and the guyver who, although not a tokusatsu product has similarities to the franchise as well as the manga artist being a fan of shotaro Ishinomori, who is the godfather for creating the base of the first kamen rider.
In Detective Conan there's a super hero tv show called "Kamen Yaiba" (or Kamen Raider in the manga) including the bike, the scarf etc. Also there's a kaiju movie series the children are into called "Gomera".

Speaking of Digimon, there's a case at the end of Digimon Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory Where you have to fight your friend to snap him out of his depression (as one does). After the battle, his Cyberdramon does the Kamen Rider Amazon henshin pose before digivolving into Justimon and does a rider kick for good measure. In fact, his signature move, Justice Kick, is your typical rider kick.
In Pokemon BW, we get The Mighty Accelguard (or Kaiketsu A☆Gilder). He's a two-for-one Ishinomori reference since he takes from both Kaiketsu Zubat (the same named pokemon itself already being a reference to Zubat) and Kamen Rider. He rides a bike, has a guitar (a specifically Zubat reference) and performs a rider kick. There are a lot of other shows and games that do Rider references but I think this is the first reference that manages to use two of Ishinomori's characters in one go. That in itself I think is interesting. Also, Megaman, the classic series can practically be read/seen as a specifically Kamen Rider reference. The robot masters being stolen and Megaman willingly becoming a combat robot in the first game is like Kamen Rider X. Protoman working for Dr.Wily in exchange for his energy core being upgraded in Megaman 3 and then switching sides to help Megaman in Megaman 4 is like Kamen Rider Stronger.
In the case of mega man, the reference is from a cartoon called astro boy, and there is no influence from masked rider. However, the scarf Proto Man is wearing is clearly a reference to masked rider.
@@宮本マリオ I know the general knowledge for megaman being a long time fan. The specific shows mentioned were Astroboy, Casshan and Ninjacaptor. That doesn't mean there weren't any other influences. Remember, Metonger-Z is a Mazinger-Z reference. Also, it's not for classic megaman but Starforce 2's last boss Le Mu is a Brave Raideen reference to Ra Mu.

As far as Pokémon and Rider goes, XY also had Bonnie doing the Ichigo henshin pose while imitating the Team Rocket motto in one episode. Sun & Moon had at least two: Sophocles' scarf and belt and Rowlet's Tackle (which was literally just Rowlet charging at its opponent with a kick).

In Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens episode there is a scene where Kaizo imagins Luke, Romin and Gakuto as his cyborg slaves working for him. Luke is shown in Shocker uniform In Transformers Cybertron/Galaxy Force Thunderblast makes THE POSE once. Also, in Danball Senki, desides several character being literally a Super Sentai, there is one scene with Shocker looking soliders. I have recorded some of these references in KR Amino, so that's why I remember them

You already flashed Ayano's silhouette for a bit, but yeah, I love how Kagerou Days references the imagery of Kamen Rider through Ayano. She wears a similar red scarf and poses around like Kamen Rider cause she wanted her newly adopted siblings to forge the association of red being the color of heroes. Up until they point they viewed themselves as monsters due to their red eyes and the abilities that came with them, but Ayano replaces that association to their red eyes actually marking them as heroes. I think it's a truly heartwarming way to reference the core of classic Kamen Rider, of men who are turned into monsters but become heroes because they use their abilities for the good of others.
In Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE there is a kids show in the game called Masqueraider is a reference to Kamen Rider as Masqueraider Raiga's signature move is the Raiga Kick. Later after the game's ending, character Touma Akagi becomes the lead character for the next iteration of the show, Masqueraider Ouga.

My friends were fans of power rangers; but I told them I liked Masked Rider more. They thought I made it up, if only they knew. Although the saban series for masked rider was terrible, I enjoyed the fight scenes and transformations more. Probably saw the real series shine through the terrible american adaptation. About 1-2 years ago I rediscovered it thanks to a site that hosted japanese drama's and so I watched Zi-O all the way through to catch up. Sure it was only the heisei series but I fell in love and still am in love with the series. It was like a distant memory returning in Full Force; although I didn't see them all yet, I'm definitely will try. If anything it's like be reintroduced to an old friend all over again! Thanks to the grand zi-o jingle I now know all of the heisei riders in order :D That and I'm now going back to watch them all, starting with Build. I do agree however that Zi-O doesn't do those series justice and it's better to watch them first. But I'm a weirdo who doesn't play by the rules :p
The Pokémon Lokix itself is a Kamen Rider reference, even down to the shiny colors directly mimicking Zero-One's color scheme (which itself is a modern take on the very first Kamen Rider). It's signature move, Axe Kick, is itself a flipping Rider Kick. The move Hi Jump Kick is also implied to be a Rider Kick, and it even does damage to the user instead if it misses the target.
I've been in love with the Rider franchise ever since a friend showed me Den-O in college. Everytime I see anything rider related in other media it puts a little happiness in my heart. That happiness overflows when it even captures the true spirit of Rider like Mumen Rider does. The flashy suits and finishers are cool and all but the beauty of the franchise is how it highlights the strength of the human spirit.
I desperately wish you had brought up No More Heroes literally discussing Kamen Rider Zi-O in its actual plot. He also has a henshin sequence and the game is developed by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE.
Probably already addressed on the other comments, but: 1) Captain Falcon's moveset in Smash Bros was likely inspired by the whole aesthetic of Kamen Rider, especially his Down Special being basically a Rider Kick, as it'd explain why they opted for physical combat instead of the bounty hunter gun he's equipped with 2) Diebuster's Inazuma Kick actually predates to its previous series: Gunbuster! It's introduced very out of nowhere on the first episode, lol Fantastic video!
Haiyore! Nyaruko-san had tons of Kamen Rider reference, even though the Heisei ones are more common than Showa's. One of the joke that gets me the most is interaction of Nyaruko with a vacuum cleaner with color designed similar to Kamen Rider W.
You also got characters like May Lee from King Of Fighters who wears a Henshin Belt. Or even Usopp's alter ego Sogeking/Sniper King from One Piece and has it's own opening.
Leona's most iconic desperation move from the King of Fighters series is a direct homage to KH Black RX's Revolcane finisher, down to the "bleeding sparks" and the big explosion after the pose is struck.
Pokemon has two references to Kamen Rider that I can point out. The first is a one-off character in the Gen 5 anime seasons called "Accelgor Rider", who even rides a motorcycle. Accelgor is also a bug type that looks like it's wearing a scarf, but is based on a snail and not a grasshopper. In Gen 9, there's the Pokemon Lokix, a Bug/Fighting type grasshopper with a very familiar appearance.
I'm honestly surprised you mentioned the Twin Inazuma Kick from Diebuster without mentioning the original Super Inazuma Kick from Gunbuster, Anno's original super robot anime from 87.
WarioWare games have plenty of references to oldschool japanese shows, from Voltron-esque super robots combining to Ultraman (instead of Ultraman, there's a "Nintenman", a giant Mario fighting with kaiju Bowser). One microgame is a reference to both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, player controls a superhero with red scarf and antenna on the head riding a scooter and needs to land a trampoline jump.
I can't list them all but there is alot more references for sure. This is all why I'd love everyone that loves anime to watch and or learn a little bit about Tokusatsu in a sort of know your elders kind of deal. I just feel that way since there are so many Toku references and or inspirations within Anime and even other areas in Japanese pop culture.
In Amphibia, Anne was watching with the frogs a super hero movie with the main character looking exactly like Ichigo, but with few changes (I highly recommend Amphibia to anyone)
The most influential one is the scarf. Since its appearance in Kamen Rider, red scarf, or the color red, have been attributed to being the protagonist/hero. Yesterday I found an enemy on Castlevania Aria of Sorrow called Kicker Skeleton and the items he was a chance of dropping 2 items which resemble Ichigo, and his attack is jump high in the air, do a front flip and trying hitting the player with a downward kick

In Persona 5 Makoto Niijima's Thief outift is based on Kamen Rider including a scarf. Ysuke even suggests her codename to be "Rider" in her showtime attack with Ryuji she even performs her own rider kick.

One notable kamen rider I remember most is Kamen Rider Black, particularly Kamen Rider Black RX. He (originally known as Kamen Rider Black) has three forms, like Black RX (sun powered), Robo (yellow-black armored robot), and Bio (red-darkblue form). One man rider who can transform into three forms without need additional rider who carry single different form.
It's amazing to see all of these Kamen Rider references across every media. Infortunately, most of the people don't even realize that because they aren't familiar with Kamen Rider and tokusatsu in general. As for my favorite reference I would say the Hero from Ping Pong The Animation.

Not only does he share his surname with Takeshi Hongo (Kamen Rider 1), but he also shares his given name with Haato Ichimonji (Kamen Rider 2).
I know its not as much classic rider, but the biggest movie of all time ends with a massive Rider reference. Avengers Endgame has the exact same ending as All Rider VS Daishocker, to a point where it HAD to be intentional.

Surprised I didn’t see Persona on here. I know it’s more known for referencing Sentai/Power Rangers with the Phoenix Ranger Featherman series but there’s a few Rider references too. For starters in P4, Shadow Naoto’s dungeon and plan to change her body is a reference to Ichigo’s origin where his body was altered to a cyborg by Shocker (though the appearance of Shadow Naoto during the fight is a reference to Kikaider which ironically was referenced recently in Shin Kamen Rider). Also when you give Yosuke the Phoenix Ranger outfit, there’s a chance he’ll comment on it and mention “preferring the Rider series more.” And in P5, when Morgana turns into a bus for the first time, he does Ichigo’s iconic henshin pose. Finally, even though this is more of a SMT crossover, in Tokyo Mirage Sessions, there’s a side quest involving a stage show of a tokusatsu called Masqueraider which shouldn’t need a further explanation.
The latest Pokemon Games, Scarlet and Violet, have perhaps one of the most blatant ones to date, that being National Pokedex #920, the Grasshopper Pokemon, Lokix. Its design absolutely oozes Kamen Rider energy, and it even has a quasi-signature move (I say "quasi-signature" because it shares it with Hitmonlee, Medicham and Hisuian Lilligant) in the form of Axe Kick.
In Megaman battle network anime (MegaMan NT warrior is the name of the show in English) have a lot of Kamen rider reference in season 3 and 4,hell the entire season 3 and 4 itself are basically Kamen rider reference lol 😂
The 90's Sailor Moon had plenty of Kamen Rider references. Sailor Moon would use Sailor Kick regularly and I think her and Chibi Sailor Moon did a double Sailor Kick in the same style as Kamen Rider. It shouldn't be a surprise as Usagi is heavily influenced by and mimicking her in-universe masked hero Sailor V who is even more of a Kamen Rider reference.
In TMNT 2012 there's an episode called "New Friend, Old Enemy" where Mikey gets to meet his martial arts hero Chris Bradford (who just so happens to have a striking resemblance to Chuck Norris). Mikey asks Chris to teach him his "secret kata", which he then shows to his brothers. It basically consists of a few punches and kicks, then he does Kamen Rider V3's henshin pose, then some kinda arm wave move. Also in the newest Pokemon games, Violet and Scarlet, there is a grasshopper Pokemon called Nymble who evolves into a more humanoid grasshopper called Lokix who is very clearly a Kamen Rider reference. His shiny form even looks like Kamen Rider Zero One's colour scheme.
Shin-Chan favorite hero are Action Mask(Action Kamen, who looks similar to Rider Man Olso in Smackdown vs Raw 08 you can purchase new moves, and one move are transform taunt who looks similar Kohtaro Minami post henshin Black RX

Captain Falcon (in Smash Brothers) is almost entirely a Kamen Rider reference. While the wiki states the green color is a Wild Goose reference, it's clearly Ichigo in SSB4 and Ultimate.
I figured that out about Falcon back in 07 or so, after I first got introduced to Kamen Rider with Kabuto. Falcon was my go-to main already, but that just made me love the character more.

one detail on mumen rider, the guy sports a mainly brown colorscheme, as since the 2000 revival, brown has been connected with the rare-yet-consistent 'mass produced riders'; the artistic choises are more evident when taking the design side by side with the Riotrooper from faiz and the on-screen effect of the Trial-Series from blade (not brown, but with the light sometimes giving them the hue) and, following after his first creation, the KRMages, the kurokage troops, the Hellbro robot, and most of all, in a weird reference-to-reference, the Ride Players of KREx-Aid
I think the color choice also serves to highlight his weakness. Mumen Rider is there to get beat up, but he will never quit because of his heroic spirit.

Stingmon's final apearence on the show os alongside his partner Ken while they both are detectives that fight Digimon, and is a clear reference to Kamen Rider Kuuga main characters

I think it would be rad to discuss how Madoka Magica and basically Urobuchi's entire career is his attempt to recreate Ryuki. I mean, even his actual Rider Series he was the show runner of was Ryuki with Fruit.

Glad to see reference to Kamen Rider expand further than it was intended. I started watching Kamen Rider W, thats what lead me to the introduction of Kamen Rider. Even as an adult I still appreciate the tone that Kamen Rider tries to show us.

The concept of “the hero” is a frequently recurring motif in Ping Pong the Animation, visually represented by a Kamen Rider-esque design and poses, with this iconography (0:00 - 0:07) being directly visually referenced at several points in the show. I don’t remember if Kamen Rider was outright namedropped, but that’s definitely what it was invoking.
It was half Kamen Rider and half Ultraman.

Actually I would like to acknowledge a few more reference to the Kamen rider franchise.
-Aside from mumen rider, D-Pad is also a Kamen rider like hero, while not getting enough screen time in mobile game opm, road to hero when you unlock D-Pad you get his two attacks moves, both referencing the rider punch and rider chop finishers. Furthermore, when you switch to his drawing model he will do the exact same pose as Ichigo, and in his description it states that he's "well loved by children" another reference.
-Genos while not rider related, has his backstory similar to the showa riders, more specifically Kamen rider V3.
-judement, a stand in the world of Jojo bizarre adventure, is designed to reference to Kamen rider and tokusatsu genre.
-and the guyver who, although not a tokusatsu product has similarities to the franchise as well as the manga artist being a fan of shotaro Ishinomori, who is the godfather for creating the base of the first kamen rider.

In Detective Conan there's a super hero tv show called "Kamen Yaiba" (or Kamen Raider in the manga) including the bike, the scarf etc. Also there's a kaiju movie series the children are into called "Gomera".

In Pokemon BW, we get The Mighty Accelguard (or Kaiketsu A☆Gilder). He's a two-for-one Ishinomori reference since he takes from both Kaiketsu Zubat (the same named pokemon itself already being a reference to Zubat) and Kamen Rider. He rides a bike, has a guitar (a specifically Zubat reference) and performs a rider kick.
There are a lot of other shows and games that do Rider references but I think this is the first reference that manages to use two of Ishinomori's characters in one go. That in itself I think is interesting.
Also, Megaman, the classic series can practically be read/seen as a specifically Kamen Rider reference. The robot masters being stolen and Megaman willingly becoming a combat robot in the first game is like Kamen Rider X. Protoman working for Dr.Wily in exchange for his energy core being upgraded in Megaman 3 and then switching sides to help Megaman in Megaman 4 is like Kamen Rider Stronger.
In the case of mega man, the reference is from a cartoon called astro boy, and there is no influence from masked rider.
However, the scarf Proto Man is wearing is clearly a reference to masked rider.
@@宮本マリオ I know the general knowledge for megaman being a long time fan. The specific shows mentioned were Astroboy, Casshan and Ninjacaptor. That doesn't mean there weren't any other influences. Remember, Metonger-Z is a Mazinger-Z reference. Also, it's not for classic megaman but Starforce 2's last boss Le Mu is a Brave Raideen reference to Ra Mu.

As far as Pokémon and Rider goes, XY also had Bonnie doing the Ichigo henshin pose while imitating the Team Rocket motto in one episode. Sun & Moon had at least two: Sophocles' scarf and belt and Rowlet's Tackle (which was literally just Rowlet charging at its opponent with a kick).

My favorite kamen rider reference is in Pokémon when Chimchar was evolving into Monferno, while he was glowing he does the Henshin pose.
In Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens episode there is a scene where Kaizo imagins Luke, Romin and Gakuto as his cyborg slaves working for him. Luke is shown in Shocker uniform
In Transformers Cybertron/Galaxy Force Thunderblast makes THE POSE once.
Also, in Danball Senki, desides several character being literally a Super Sentai, there is one scene with Shocker looking soliders.

You already flashed Ayano's silhouette for a bit, but yeah, I love how Kagerou Days references the imagery of Kamen Rider through Ayano. She wears a similar red scarf and poses around like Kamen Rider cause she wanted her newly adopted siblings to forge the association of red being the color of heroes. Up until they point they viewed themselves as monsters due to their red eyes and the abilities that came with them, but Ayano replaces that association to their red eyes actually marking them as heroes. I think it's a truly heartwarming way to reference the core of classic Kamen Rider, of men who are turned into monsters but become heroes because they use their abilities for the good of others.

In Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE there is a kids show in the game called Masqueraider is a reference to Kamen Rider as Masqueraider Raiga's signature move is the Raiga Kick. Later after the game's ending, character Touma Akagi becomes the lead character for the next iteration of the show, Masqueraider Ouga.

My friends were fans of power rangers; but I told them I liked Masked Rider more. They thought I made it up, if only they knew.
Although the saban series for masked rider was terrible, I enjoyed the fight scenes and transformations more. Probably saw the real series shine through the terrible american adaptation. About 1-2 years ago I rediscovered it thanks to a site that hosted japanese drama's and so I watched Zi-O all the way through to catch up.
Sure it was only the heisei series but I fell in love and still am in love with the series. It was like a distant memory returning in Full Force; although I didn't see them all yet, I'm definitely will try. If anything it's like be reintroduced to an old friend all over again! A BEST MATCH if you will ^^

Bug being weak to Dark in Pokemon is a Kamen Rider reference, especially in Japan where Dark type is called Evil type.
The Pokémon Lokix itself is a Kamen Rider reference, even down to the shiny colors directly mimicking Zero-One's color scheme (which itself is a modern take on the very first Kamen Rider).
It's signature move, Axe Kick, is itself a flipping Rider Kick.
The move Hi Jump Kick is also implied to be a Rider Kick, and it even does damage to the user instead if it misses the target.

I've been in love with the Rider franchise ever since a friend showed me Den-O in college. Everytime I see anything rider related in other media it puts a little happiness in my heart. That happiness overflows when it even captures the true spirit of Rider like Mumen Rider does. The flashy suits and finishers are cool and all but the beauty of the franchise is how it highlights the strength of the human spirit.
I desperately wish you had brought up No More Heroes literally discussing Kamen Rider Zi-O in its actual plot. He also has a henshin sequence and the game is developed by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE.
Probably already addressed on the other comments, but:
1) Captain Falcon's moveset in Smash Bros was likely inspired by the whole aesthetic of Kamen Rider, especially his Down Special being basically a Rider Kick, as it'd explain why they opted for physical combat instead of the bounty hunter gun he's equipped with
2) Diebuster's Inazuma Kick actually predates to its previous series: Gunbuster! It's introduced very out of nowhere on the first episode, lol

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san had tons of Kamen Rider reference, even though the Heisei ones are more common than Showa's. One of the joke that gets me the most is interaction of Nyaruko with a vacuum cleaner with color designed similar to Kamen Rider W.
I love how Kamen Rider is everywhere, yet in my country it's not very well known. It's my favourite show and I wish more people knew about it

Leona's most iconic desperation move from the King of Fighters series is a direct homage to KH Black RX's Revolcane finisher, down to the "bleeding sparks" and the big explosion after the pose is struck.
Pokemon has two references to Kamen Rider that I can point out. The first is a one-off character in the Gen 5 anime seasons called "Accelgor Rider", who even rides a motorcycle. Accelgor is also a bug type that looks like it's wearing a scarf, but is based on a snail and not a grasshopper. In Gen 9, there's the Pokemon Lokix, a Bug/Fighting type grasshopper with a very familiar appearance.
Viewtiful Joe basically is a Kamen Rider video game by another name. So awesome.
I'm honestly surprised you mentioned the Twin Inazuma Kick from Diebuster without mentioning the original Super Inazuma Kick from Gunbuster, Anno's original super robot anime from 87.

WarioWare games have plenty of references to oldschool japanese shows, from Voltron-esque super robots combining to Ultraman (instead of Ultraman, there's a "Nintenman", a giant Mario fighting with kaiju Bowser). One microgame is a reference to both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai, player controls a superhero with red scarf and antenna on the head riding a scooter and needs to land a trampoline jump.
Love to see Gravity rush was also givin Kamen rider flair, glad that franchise still hasn't been completely forgotten
I can't list them all but there is alot more references for sure. This is all why I'd love everyone that loves anime to watch and or learn a little bit about Tokusatsu in a sort of know your elders kind of deal. I just feel that way since there are so many Toku references and or inspirations within Anime and even other areas in Japanese pop culture.
In Amphibia, Anne was watching with the frogs a super hero movie with the main character looking exactly like Ichigo, but with few changes (I highly recommend Amphibia to anyone)

Yesterday I found an enemy on Castlevania Aria of Sorrow called Kicker Skeleton and the items he was a chance of dropping 2 items which resemble Ichigo, and his attack is jump high in the air, do a front flip and trying hitting the player with a downward kick

One notable kamen rider I remember most is Kamen Rider Black, particularly Kamen Rider Black RX. He (originally known as Kamen Rider Black) has three forms, like Black RX (sun powered), Robo (yellow-black armored robot), and Bio (red-darkblue form).
One man rider who can transform into three forms without need additional rider who carry single different form.

I know its not as much classic rider, but the biggest movie of all time ends with a massive Rider reference. Avengers Endgame has the exact same ending as All Rider VS Daishocker, to a point where it HAD to be intentional.

Pokemon back in Black and White anime has a hero that show up in one episode as Accelguard with his partner Accelgor which also has a motocycle too.
Now Pokemon Scarlet and Violet given us a new Pokemon, Nymble a Bug type Grasshopper Pokemon that later evovles into Lokix a Bug/Dark Grasshopper Pokemon. They uses their back third legs to go into a showdown mode where they can jump really high and deliver a devastating kick. The design is inspired by Kamen Rider Black Sun as its shiny form is inspired by Kamen Rider Zero-One. Even in TCG it even show it doing a rider kick.
Surprised I didn’t see Persona on here. I know it’s more known for referencing Sentai/Power Rangers with the Phoenix Ranger Featherman series but there’s a few Rider references too. For starters in P4, Shadow Naoto’s dungeon and plan to change her body is a reference to Ichigo’s origin where his body was altered to a cyborg by Shocker (though the appearance of Shadow Naoto during the fight is a reference to Kikaider which ironically was referenced recently in Shin Kamen Rider). Also when you give Yosuke the Phoenix Ranger outfit, there’s a chance he’ll comment on it and mention “preferring the Rider series more.” And in P5, when Morgana turns into a bus for the first time, he does Ichigo’s iconic henshin pose. Finally, even though this is more of a SMT crossover, in Tokyo Mirage Sessions, there’s a side quest involving a stage show of a tokusatsu called Masqueraider which shouldn’t need a further explanation.
The latest Pokemon Games, Scarlet and Violet, have perhaps one of the most blatant ones to date, that being National Pokedex #920, the Grasshopper Pokemon, Lokix.
Its design absolutely oozes Kamen Rider energy, and it even has a quasi-signature move (I say "quasi-signature" because it shares it with Hitmonlee, Medicham and Hisuian Lilligant) in the form of Axe Kick.
In Megaman battle network anime (MegaMan NT warrior is the name of the show in English) have a lot of Kamen rider reference in season 3 and 4,hell the entire season 3 and 4 itself are basically Kamen rider reference lol 😂

The 90's Sailor Moon had plenty of Kamen Rider references. Sailor Moon would use Sailor Kick regularly and I think her and Chibi Sailor Moon did a double Sailor Kick in the same style as Kamen Rider. It shouldn't be a surprise as Usagi is heavily influenced by and mimicking her in-universe masked hero Sailor V who is even more of a Kamen Rider reference.

Also in the newest Pokemon games, Violet and Scarlet, there is a grasshopper Pokemon called Nymble who evolves into a more humanoid grasshopper called Lokix who is very clearly a Kamen Rider reference. His shiny form even looks like Kamen Rider Zero One's colour scheme.

I think guyver was supposed to be a more gritty take on the henshin hero genre at the time. Not 100% sure on that though but it does show if it is.

The author of guyver was instructed by the publisher to draw a comic like masked rider, and wrote the comic accordingly.
By the way, the author of guyver changed the author's name and wrote a pedophelia comic before writing guyver, which would be a definite bashing in the present day.
