Amazing Latif!! We would love to to see Samad cooking it, and also a smaller portion. Thanks for sharing these secrets, they make all the difference.
You must have a great team working for you. Chopping the onions to this amount must be exhausting and also all that peeling of garlic skin must be hardwork. People don't realise the amount of work going into creating curries in a restaurant. Stay blessed.
Compared to a bricky I would say it's light work but I know what your saying
they get paid for doing the work love.
Well there are tricks to get the work done fast; put garlic in steel bowl with lid and shake hard, voila
I want to come and eat at your restaurant which is your location
They have a machine to do that
Latif, you have made cooking a proper curry much easier. Great Videos and a great way on screen when showing us what to do. 😋
Yallah samad!!! Lets go my friend
Gifted we are Latif with your videos 🙏 ♥️🙏
Love to your Mum ♥️
The smell of bhuna onion cooking is heaven. It lets me know that amazing curries are not far away
u can smell it through your computer screen?
How late is it there, this must be way past 10 in the night , still you are busy pre preparing for the next day's service. Incredible!
🤣Work whole day, and put in the effort to work whole night 🤣
That's the secret of a good restaurant
Can't wait to see the next recipe
When I lived in the UK I used to eat a lot in Bradford and they'd give raw onion, tomato and cucumber as an appetizer in Kashmiri places. The onions were always proper strong and tasty. I've never eaten anything like them since.
This video has inspired me to go the bhuna route for my next curry session at home. Thanks for sharing.
We definitely need to see Samad cook x
Been in france for 20 years. Do I miss a decent curry ! I've tried so many here and never been happy. I've been following your channel, better than anything I've eaten here.
Cheers ! No doubt my fave curry cooking channel ever. Love waiting for your new videos to appear. Mark
I am retired living in Northern Thailand, I miss my Indian food from back in Northern UK. I used to go to an Indian Restaurant in Leyland and have the most fantastic dish it was called Murg Charg Quite red in colour very aromatic and I have never seen it on a Menu anywhere else, If you know it and can show us how to make it, well you would make an old man very happy indeed. GT
Its amazing how our curries have evolved depending where the Indians moved to. I am in South Africa and love watching you cook
Definitely
Thank you
Love your recipes❤
Thanks for sharing latif !
Amazing Chef! will make that soon, Thank YOU 🙏💐💖
Thank you I've been wanting to know how to do this! Another great video!!!
Lets see your Shatkora pickle recipe. I had this dish in Brick lane years ago and would love to make it myself.
Wow
Looks fabulous I love to watch you cooking these amazing dishes, My mouth is watering.
Bro, plz take the following comment as constructive criticism as I really can’t fault any of your talent, passion and dedication to making good food.
The only thing that gets me if the aluminium pots and pans scrapping
Stainless steel is a harder metal than aluminium and over time, the aluminium will leach into the food.
It would be really good to replace some of the equipment to stainless, but I realise that it might not be economically viable.
But again, plz don’t take it negatively.
I know bro, I’ll feel you. I have taken it on board. Bless you. Thank you I appreciate the support. Tough love is always better. God bless
@@LatifsInspired as always you’ve shown great humility, thanks for understanding and god bless yo brother
Legend as always!

Looks amazing ❤, great video as always, keep the videos coming 😎

Ahhh the final piece - you've mentioned having this in the restaurant quite often so it'll be interesting to see how we can use this.
Pickle recipes my friend 🙏 im going to take a guess your mum is a pickle queen. In my experience everyone's mum makes the best pickles ❤
Lol mums are queens
Awesome ! That black metal paddle is something Dark vader would use to cook with.
So easy with your instructions, and a fantastic dish to finish it up. I need to try this!
Yes definitely
Those onions and the shakura look delicious!😋
More vids like this would be great.

Brilliant Latif, so pleased you done a video on Bhuna onions mate. Been wanting to know how to do this for a while. Love your vids and all your hard work mate. Keep it up
now u know Andy! how do u feel?
Out local BIR style restaurant does an onion chutney they serve with papadum. I'm pretty sure it's maybe onion, Kashmiri chili power (not spicy at all, but bright red), possibly cumin and/or coriander, probably a little sugar? I'd love to see your take on that and other condiments.
I may be wrong but I’m sure there’s tomato ketchup in it..
Just looked, Latif has a recipe for the red onion salad here on UA-cam.
I've made it from Latifs recipe and it's wonderful.
Jazakallah brotha looks good
Wa iyaakum
Can you freeze this for future use? Thanks again for the great posts you do. You answered 😂. Had to finish the video.
excellent vid as always, very informative.
Thank you Thomas
Honestly I would've watched this just because the British intrusive R rendering this "bhunaronion" makes me smile for some reason! (As it is, the recipe is great, too.)
Thank you
Thank you so much for this really helpful tip more meal prep videos would be great
Will make a few more
👍👍
I love your videos always you’re such an easy watch and so informative.the whole time I was thinking of the gas bill lol. I would love to see how to make chicken tikka restaurant style that exact taste at home.I know you have some videos on it I’ve tried they are very flavourful but that Indian restaurant l/takeaway taste is what I’m looking for.
Yes please! I would appreciate a smaller version.
❤❤
Bro I made your keema yesterday bro what can I say it was FANTASTIC
Hi Latif another great vid, thx. Regarding requests I have twice requested murghi (on the bone) masala spiced up to madras or madras plus but still waiting, hopefully 3rd time lucky (I'll keep my fingers crossed), thx in advance
Another amazing video Latif. Another tip to be used in my BIR cooking. Would you be able to do a video on the pre-cooked rogan onions and pepper please?
Lovely, I'm thinking for us home cook chefs, probably would not keep,so less might be the way to do it.
I’d eat that on its own!
Lol
Shobji Bhaji please :)
Looks absolutely delicious, chef. For the chicken shatkora at the end, could you use a Patak's Lime Pickle if you can't find shatkora, or would that be too different?
Love your curries, can you please make me a Lamb Methi to follow, cheers
Ooh good idea 👍
Can I have recipe for shahi halwa please
I love your cooking and watch you regularly. Any chance of doing Keema rice please.
Soon
Can you freeze or put it in the fridge, how long will it last. Love your videos 7:04
This is great but could you do a smaller portion please, keep up the great content 👍🏻
Thank you Tom
Looks amazing, but can you cook a smaller amount for home use please
Latif, old bean. WE NEED THE COOKBOOK. with all your recipes
Can you make a lamb ra ra
Hi Latif. Where do you get your pans and big spoon from? By the way By Far the best cooking videos on UA-cam 👌
Video request- how to make the shatkora you put in? And when you say you make your own, can you buy it?
As you say it does not freeze well so how about a smaller version for home use. How long would it last in the fridge then?
Hi, I love what you do what do you make the different dishes isn’t mouthwatering, especially I am a big fan of your chicken dishes. Is it possible that you could make the chicken lollipop fry?
I’ve actually been meaning to make it soon
Beautiful!! I've meaning to ask for some time if you know of a different type of phall curry, as opposed to just adding chilli powder? Have you tried to incorporate a bhut jolokia, trinidad scorpion or carolina reaper chilli in the right quantities to create a super-hot curry?
Oh dear!
Please teach us how to make Phaal akhi
Please do veg fulab easy cost of living crisis thankyou
Yes soon
Would love to see a small-batch version of this for freezing-- for recipes that are going to get hit with a stick blender nomatter what, so the texture doesn't matter. At that point, would you just cook them till they caramelize and start to fall apart, for more flavor?
No, bhuna onion has to keep its shape. If you cook for too long it would become mushy.
Latif, why don't you use stainless steel cooking pots?
I have eaten some really hot chillis. Most are acrid! Some I find have flavour and wondered if you have experimented with any of those super hot chillis? Maybe slow cook then use skins or fry with rice then remove the chilli?
Latif ,can you plz make a sml batch .Thanks
Asalam br latifs Allah bless you give you health jazakalAllah please can you give me the little recipe of onion Allah reward you jannat from sis Canada
Wayne😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Latif. Can you freeze the bhuna onions for use at home.
Latif - if you stopped cooking it earlier, while the onion was still firmer, would it stand up to freezing? Asking because this would be an awesome ingredient to have available on short notice...
In my opinion if you freeze Bhuna onion it looses flavour. When freezing base gravy it’s no problem whatsoever
i would suspect the onion breaks down when frozen. certain foods just dont freeze well, the water content inside the cells cause them to burst, destroying the consistency
What is the meaning behind the comment you use in a lot of your sounds like “ wish me luck “ I’m assuming it’s Indian ? Love your videos bud and I’ve cooked a lot of your recipes 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Bismillah “in the name of Allah”
@@LatifsInspired every days a school day 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Hi Chef, Is this recipe what you could call "Service Onions?" Thanks.
This one one of them
Rogan josh please Latif would love to make one my self authentic
He's already done a rogan josh a one pot lamb rogan josh check the playlist and bir curries
@@johnharrison7176 thanks will do
@@johnharrison7176 I would love to see a butter lamb curry has latif done that ?
@@Keeko251 I think he's done a butter chicken but just change it for lamb
@@johnharrison7176 butter lamb is supposibly a favourite in Bangladesh very popular supposibly
Seed you put in Bhutanese onions
Looks amazing, but why are you using US cup measurements? Very confusing.
Is there a significant difference between black cumin and regular cumin? I cant remember having seen black cumin anywhere i shop.
Black cumin is thinner & lighter. Very different in flavour and aroma
@@LatifsInspired Thank you for the reply, I'm going to give it a try.
So what's in the shatkora mix?
It’s a citrus fruit used in Bangladeshi cooking
What was the spice. You put in onions
Is the shahee zeera the black cumin?
Yes
What were the mixed powder and the red powder? Curry powder & chilli powder? All you said were the measurements & mixed powder. 😕
The onions aren't caramelized, they are mushy like mash potatoes.
You can caramelise onions if you use more oil and less onions
You use a lot of oil, maybe I should use more.
I use organic extra virgin olive oil as its the healthiest. I don't mind using extra oil in curries as it break down tomatoes, onions, ginger and garlic faster.
What’s the thing you keep saying ?… sounds like wish me luck !
Bismillah means Thanks to God 👍🏾
@@riddimchef1 cheers 👍
Get a nice "LITTLE" pot lol
Sounds weird when you say bengali words such as shatkhora in the coconut way. Just say it in bengali man give it to them in the real way it’s more authentic like that
So annoying using metal spoons in Aluminium pots noise noise and irritating 😮
Oh dear
Get brother Samad to make a dish.
Nice video mate. Hows about one showing us how to do the tasty red onions that we get with poppadoms? I've tried, but mine are always rubbish. 👍🏴👨🏼🍳
Boona? You're butchering the Sylheti language.
Shatkora? You're an embarrassment to Sylhetis.
