@@TheMsChipsy When you watch a video there are quizzes popping up. There are tests also. And there are exercises where you create personas,user journey maps,wireframes etc

Yes, coursera provides this course and will grant you a google ux design certificate. I would say its good for showing employers that you at least understand the basics.

when we talked about personas i was thinking about that is it a great idea in every app or website to make the user emphatize? Per Example a App for Single mothers where there is a Illustration of Mary Grant 35 Singlemother from 2 Boys which accomplished through the Product to be Happy and organized? I think u get the idea. Not only testamonials but sucessstorytelling??

I started the course here but then switched to coursera. With reading materials,tests and tasks it's more effective IMHO

the certificate itself doesn’t hold much value. just make your projects look good and you’ll be fine
