Watched your entire video. Now you have me needing a whale tail punch. Half the fun of Paper crafting is shopping for new supplies. Keep those gorgeous videos coming, Melina.
There are a lot of us who want one of those whale tail punches. I have seen something similar in shape as a die cut. I’ve also seen many people selling basically the same shape on a digital download. I was thinking of buying one and then making a template to trace so I can fussy cut some of these tabs. I just can’t spend the amount of money they are selling for on eBay (if you can even find them!)

Great ideas. Try cutting the whale tale in half. And glue the straight side to your gatefold card. One on each side. Put them close together so the rounded edges overlap. Hope that makes sense.

I bought a punch on Amazon that is like a whale's tail, just love it and it wasn't expensive. I went punch crazy when I received it and now won't have to punch any for a good long time. Enjoyed the makes🩷🪻💙

Melina, these are so sweet!!!❤ such a GREAT idea for using page tabs in a different way. Scrapbusters is one of my favourite tutorials! I have lots of scraps to use up, and each week you bring us some GREAT IDEAS to use up our scraps!! This summer I am going to be teaching crafts at a Bible camp. Each week is a different age group. The ages start at 5 to 18, and we do a ladies weekend the last weekend in August. A couple years ago I got the youth to make a prayer journal. I love seeing all the creativity that all the different ages can do❤ I hope you all have a blessed weekend & I pray GOD’S protection on you and your family as you travel to

I’m with you, Gi…need to be organized so I can put my hands on what I want, when I need it. Of course, it doesn’t take long for that organization to disintegrate during a creative frenzy. But I try to neaten up after each session in the craft room so it doesn’t get too out of hand. And I seem to come up with a “better system” several times a year. Sometimes it’s just a tweak, sometimes more involved. And I like having those frequently used, or current project things close to hand. I do hope you feel better soon and get back to your healthy self. It’s not easy to be creative when you feel like you’ve been run over. Hugs💕

I have been rooting around in the pile of craft supplies next to my recliner and so far I have not found my whale tale punch, but I will and I’m gonna make a ton of these things. Thanks! Hi Melina- I own a stamping up whale tale stamp set that has one plain stamp and the other three stamps in the set has a design on it that you can put on top of the whale tail - It’s a nice set actually and I use it quite often because I didn’t buy the punch when that was available, however i do believe this is retired also since I have it for a long time now. Just wanted you to know! Thanks- Terri
