Guys for tips about upgrading gear star levels. if you are f2p and are struggling with gold i guess you can upgrade purples if you really want to but i would honestly only try and upgrade boots and gloves because those are the only ones that can give you crit which helps your damage a lot and maybe try 1 star advancement on the other gears in order to try and hit an attack roll

The Tip about not upgrading any equipment unless its Gold gear isn't all true. The main ways of getting gold gear are relatively difficult. Unless you have 2-3 whale friends to carry you, you won't be doing any damage, will get 1 shot more times than not and overall just be dead weight. Upgrading your good purple gear until you can get good gold gear to replace them with will go a long way to helping you clear content. Theres a 10-20% exp lost once you fodder that purple gear into the gold gear but the benefits of getting stronger now outweigh that small exp lost.

same, atm I have full gold gear, I'm just trying to get pieces with better stats now, but when I started, me and a couple of friends upgraded our purples because they were all we had at the time and we didn't want to get carried neither, even one of them got shit on by the rng and he couldn't get a full set of golden pieces until apho raid became available.

10:57 Another Tip: Turn on hp bars for teammates every time especially if you are healer. Do this in the box in top right of screen and click flag looking symbol. This will help you see if someone is dead or about to die
I still do this even if I'm not the main healer. I have Nemesis, so I still wanna help with the healing. Will also tell you if a teammate needs reviving.

All guides are geared towards dps and that is why a large amount of people are struggling. I switched to healing resonance and job role with king as shield breaker and now we clear a lot more consistently with me being mvp almost every time. Healers and shield breaking in very important.
well thats an mmo thing like in ffxiv healers and tanks are valued much more than dps, cause everyone wants to be dps
Because of time limits. Sure tanks and healers deal some damage too, but come bygone/FC/VR
Getting mvp is easy as healer but only doing 1or 2mil dmg during Frontier, void or joint op is just disgusting and can't be excused by saying you're a healer.

The math for crit are as follows:
Crit Rate = (crit/(target level*2.666-27))/100
This means the crit rate gets effected by whatever level of monsters your are facing. The crit rate value you have in your stats is simply flat stats you can get from other sources that is not affected by your or the enemies levels.

One of the reason I liked genshin is cuz it lets me play whatever I liked. Being forced to main one element is not something that sits well with me but luckily the freeze team's frigg, lin and saki fuwa are also characters i plan on getting so I guess its still ok for now.
Well to be honest, this tip is short term because once you have that one team, you can roll whatever you want. The reason you want to build a main team first is because, with the limited resources you have, you really want to have one strong team to clear content with. After you have that team, you can just roll on whatever catches your fancy. Genshin was actually similar in the beginning, where you had to roll certain units, like C1 Bennett, or even Venti, to clear certain content more easily. I suppose what makes this game more restrictive is that the SRs are trash unlike most of Genshin 4*s.
Very helpful guide for someone like myself who haven't played mmos for hundreds of years. And being f2p. Efficiency is so important. I've already made alot of mistakes you said not to make but at least I'll have a smoother trip here on out.
Actually, building multiple elements is recommended cuz some content do have full elemental immunity to an element. This was already shown in our Wormhole where there was complete Ice Immunity
Great tip about Reviving people and only needing to click and run.
Don't need to stand there with them and put ourselves at risk. Just run over close enough to get the button, click it, and run
(And DO IT because some fights don't let you resurrect. That could be the moment your progress ends)

If your game is still crashing like mine used to. If you can find your crash log, you can get a hint of what causes it. In my case it was my GPU overclocking settings on PC.

On your focus point, I'm planning to focus on flame for a while. My king is 1 star, I have 2 fortress pieces (armband and gloves) with flame attack (both are really good, cause gloves have the crit and armband has physical and regular attack as well) and as a f2p I didn't get much of a chance to grab nemisis so I can't focus on my samir. That being said, the first flame banner is yet to release and with claudia coming first for physical, I'll have plenty of time to get a few more dark crystals for limited summons.
I'm just worried Lynn will arrive and like CN, flame will die off from the meta completely.
That being said I did not know that you can run off while reviving. That's actually really useful... although the bigger thing you need to mention is you need to STOP reviving someone in the middle of a boss attack so they insta die, I can't tell you how many times I've been hit 1 micro second after being revived. You need an immunity time after being revived and the game does not honour that.
You Can Get Crit Rate from Gear on top right slot (glasses) . All stat that you can from that gear is Persentage, which mean you can get Atk%, Element dmg%, rest%, hp%, crit rate%
That Gear is Unlock When Artificial Island Release.
When artificial island release (1.5) or when vera release (2.0)?
That revive tip is huge I’ve died and wiped due to thinking I’m stuck in healing animation

17:00 tip15 I suggest don't run Dimensional Trials especially right now, lower levels it's harder to matchmake since everybody's running the highest difficulty. The next best thing is doing the Frontier Clash on normal mode and just tick on Asisst tick at the bottom of the accept party to not consume your token or if you ranout it'll be automatically ticked, then Auto Icon right above your character's HP and do afk farming. The best part about this is that you can get 350 support tokens with vehicle parts and 32K EXP per and it'll only take you 4.5 Fronteir clash to maxout your daily support tokens. Frontier Clash is much better because it alleviates the loading times going in and out of instances and queueing times waiting for people to join.

some people already tested the datamined fom joint operations and it doesnt change the values unless you open all 3 boxes so if you open first or 3rd is the same chance of getting something, then its the guaranteed chance of getting gear at 5th box and matrix at 30~, now you know go and open all 3 boxes for a 5% chance or open last one for 1%

@@Plsrateeight pretty much, I mean 3 weeks ago when the datamined was released some people did the test, first box can't get a purple matrix never (0% drop) and last has 100%, they did it backwards and got nothing on 3rd and a purple on first, then they tested the guaranteed drop on gear and matrix too by doing all boxes and only last one and is obviously better to do it all 3 for the increase drop instead of only last for the only 1% (and obviously for the amount of time of doing multiple JO for only last instead of 2 for all 3)
As I can tell some people just got confused when the saw the datamined and saw the 5% from a 3rd box and thought 3rd box has a 5% instead of thinking that is an accumulation of all 3 box chances, that's why they did all those test day 1 of datamined
@@mikasoulsborne2929 Tons of people in my crew swear by the method and get constant gold and everything so so no I'm not gonna believe randoms when I literally have people and my own experiences to go on.
@@Plsrateeight the thing is that they all are getting the guaranteed drop from 5 boxes but if they get double is the 1% so is still possible but not higher chance, I also did only last box after lv45 and got a lot of gold gear but after watching all the test by opening all 3 boxes I've got 2 gold in 1 run.
At the end it kinda doesnt matter since you are going from 1% to 5% for gear (ofc higher chance tho) but matrix chance is better to increase it since it super super low chance (all 3 boxes makes it go to 1%) so you are playing lottery by only 1

Oh my god the Crit rate tip….that is so interesting. So if your enemy is the same level as you, you actually have a 50% chance of triggering a critical hit and it’s as a buff? Like…how frigg’s 2pc gives Friday atk when use on field, but your armour is your base frost atk.

Do you possibly know why the elemental score in the character menu is greyed out? Both of my weapons use frost but I can't seem to have my frost attack bolded like yours at 1:08
It depends on your the weapon that youre currently holding. If youre currently on frost, the frost score will be bolded etc
I only decided once I got Frigg that I want to main Ice, so I spread my resources all over the place and it royally sucks trying to level my main team now. I used some of my black gold on the wrong weapons too. Ugh.
I have frigg and tsubasa but the problem is that meryl seems to hate me so i don't know what combination i should use

As a f2p I recommend buy the Vit Refresh in the bignning of the account, 2 per day, this way when you get to lvl 60 you can rush farm gold equip
The one thing I don't understand is why I do trigger crit in bygone where enemiy levels are higher? crit says it only applies enemies with same level right
pretty sure that higher level enemies show lower your crit rate not necessarily negate it
I have a concern as a healer, people never come to me for heals and I can barely stay alive and keep dying when trying to heal people what should I do?
12:40 Even if you die in joint ops it's not over. You don't have to reset the entire joint operation and join another team of randoms. As long as the team wipes the entire team can respawn and try again.
Yea but if everyone is already I already in one shot range mostly likely you will not be able to complete it. The tip was saying after everyone goes down 3 times. The next time you “go down” you just die immediately and have to wait for either your team to finish the boss off or try again. And if you keep trying and trying again eventually the joint operation will just tell you you failed

I got gold gears mostly on 2nd chest, only 1x on 3rd chest.
About doing only the 3rd isnt the best option since after u open the 3rd and get no ssr u hv higher chance so u return for the 2nd one then if no ssr to the 1st etc ...
Got 3 ssr armors and a huma matrix only from opening 7 chests like this which means 180 vitality the daily cap + 30 = 210 which as f2p is just ez to do so now u get closer for ur matrix pity too ....
i got all the free mounts without doing afk farm. but i noticed i got all of them killing the monsters that drop them just minutes after i log in, maybe just sheer luck.. but still.
Let's say I have nemesis, Shiro and Crow.
Now if I have crow in use and Shiro is fully charged up.

For tip 15, the support point is easily farm by joining world boss run. Each boss chest give you 100 by opening the chest via force decipher. You will get vehicle parts to level up your mount for DC as well. One cycle you can get 600 points, also it's fun joining lots of people to wrack the boss in minute
Nah its better to do auto FC normal
Auto FC normal can give you 375 support point and around 44k+ exp with average 7-8 mins per run or around 9 mins maximum with matching and loading screen.

that datemined information on the chests is wrong. It scales with how many chests you've opened in a single joint op instance. So the third chest only has chest 3 rates if you opened the other two

Guess I will be maining Volt as I have Nemesis and maybe Physical. So I have to get lucky and get Claudia and Lin. But as a f2p and afk player it will be hard.
Honestly i barely get yellow from the last chest but oddly kept getting yellow in the first chest T-T but still this tips is important as it will make Vitality usage more efficient and effective to get better gears in general.

I'm still confused about the crit, your 54.35% is the real crit rate chance or just the % increase for the hidden crit rate?
real inherent crit rate. if I join a void rifts and everyone gives me crit rate buffs it would increase to about 80ish%

Main only one element? 😅 Oh no, I was going for characters I like to play + to counter the enemies. But since I use Nemesis a lot and my Samir is also quite strong, I guess I'll go for the volt element. But I also like to play as King, Meryl, and my most recent Claudia (which I quite regret pulling for, oh well).
I got pretty low on the damage since the global release. I'm not sure if my cs and dmg are adequate to my level or if the whales are making me feel way weaker than I actually am, lv 69 with cs around 38k. I'm constantly pretty low on gold making it hard to progress with matrices, weapons, gear etc.

The Elemental & normal ATK stat priority should be reveresed compared to what you advice, since Elemental ATK can roll higher.
why your crit is so high it's double than me can you show the detail how to do that ??
Can someone confirm this? For void rift, a crewmate mentioned that everyone gotta get green lighted buffs otherwise none of the buff will be activated, is this true? Also, is it depend on the number of buff per person of buff’s types? Sometimes whales tell us to redirect all of the buffs to them, so I was wondering if this imbalance will affect them too cuz if so, that’d be inefficient to everyone.
Activated mean 3 stack of the same buff. Even with one you are buffed, 3 stack give you extra bonus 25% basically. So it's advised to get at least 3, and not all buff you want to pass to people. For example, Poet increase healing you will want to give it to healer. Warrior give aggro and HP, you will want to give it to tank. Then elemental buff give to people who use the corresponding weapon, Crit definitely give it to DPS.

Generally you want everyone on the team to have a buff at 3 stacks because the whole team gets 25% attack+healing per person for a total of 100% attack and healing. After you make sure everyone has 3 stack of something, you can feed people according to their builds. Healing to healers, frost atk to frost users, aggro to tanks, etc. So that whale that wanted you to feed them everything was just a bad whale. He lost damage because the other party members didn't have a 3 stack. Could have just kept others with the elements he didn't use and the aggro skill to get 75% more attack lol
Tip: If you're doing Joint Operation open the 3rd box first, then the 2nd and then the 1st. I tried doing this and got a gold gear at 3rd and a matrix at 2nd (I found this at youtube, I don't remember who did it)

Edit: I tried it and I only got gold bracers at the 1st one and nothing at 3rd and 2nd.
for the support point what u need to do is not taking the chest, so if u follow the tip to only take the last chest in joint operation, u will get support point as well
and don't forget to play claw machine everyday :3 nice free 3 gift for ur simulacra

About the purple gear stars and stats, don't they transfer to the new gold gear, if you use them as a material?

* Important For Joint Operation SSR Gear *
Joint Operation now has a new a better way to be farmed, the chests have a soft pity so youll want to collect them backwards (final chest, 2nd chest, then 1st chest). After 5 chests with Joint Operation Chips, you are guaranteed an SSR piece of Gear. Mattjestic Life can explain it in much better detail.
The crit percentage is how often you will crit. The first crit is the actual amount you will crit

the effect lasts only for 1.5 seconds but it's constantly being refreshed especially by fast hitting characters so technically you have the effect permanently, for example if you use frigg skill it will immediately give you max stacks

I didn’t want to become a tank but I apparently am both a terrible DPS and healer so became tank instead
For joint ops gear drop ... it's really hard for average F2P to clear last boss unless you are lucky to get high cs / whale random teammates to carry ... after failed many times with randoms and a big waste of time, eventually i just run the 1st stage solo then quit and repeat, you can get gold gear too and it's way faster, make sure to use the joint ops chips first before starting the joint ops to increase the chance of getting gold gear
I think that +54% is a buff for PVE coz every mobs are always same as your level on pvp you might fight diff lvl opponent so that buff will be useless!

I liked this game, but the problem I'm having is crashing when loading. So, i am guaranteed to not crash the first timeI l enter the game, but after that... Yeah, my fate rests in whatever god there is. So, I want to be active because the battle is hella fun but... Having to restart the game everytime is a pain..
And not to mention because of that, I'm discouraged to play any game modes and subsequently made me only have 9k CS at level 52 while others have like 26k
My tip number 16 dont use your support points till vera comes up. You can buy those vera coins with support point and also dont waste purple dust and save it for vera

Why is the fucking crit % stat even there when it doesnt show your crit rate?
Resisting 100% was NOT an exaggeration. Wormhole and Sequential Bygone have 100% resist with elemental immunity. If you are 100% one element team it can hurt with some content.

FYI, there are levels in ToF where the enemy is completely immune to a specific element.
Two teams will be necessary, but one team having your main investment
That is why you build a backup element which you can get on standard banner. He was just explaining to F2Ps to choose a main element to pull on Limited banners.
