After watching this brought back memories!!!! I was in the Navy from 1969 to 1973. Stationed on the USS Ajax AR-6 homeported out of Sasebo, Japan. We made four trips to Vung Tau, Vietnam. The 4th time we came back to Hong Kong and a Typhoon was coming up the coast!!!! We went to sea heading back to Japan. Everyone was SICK!!! I was a Helsman and the 3rd day was the worst!!!!!! (I can tell this story now 52 years later!) Some of us went up on the Boat Deck and smoked Marijuana!!!!! Calmed my stomach down very good!!!! Got on Watch that night; I think I was the only one on the Bridge that was not SICK!!!!! The Lee Helm took off to go throw up!!! I put the Sound Powered Phones on and for awhile was doing two jobs!!!! My Captain came over and told me what a good job I was doing!!!!!! I really don't think he would have been telling me that if he knew the truth of why I was not sick!!!!!!! HAPPY SAILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. What another great video. It's crazy when river water meets sea water. An incredible sight. Almost like a line drawn with a ruler. Storms are always a big challenge for sailing, especially when they are over 40 knots. But then you are rewarded with such marvellous skyscapes as the one at the end. Simply fantastic. 👏😍💙⚓
