A gifted actor. I am currently watching him in "'Ship Of Fools"(1965) where he gives a very good performance as the ship's doctor.
Oskar Werner was excellent in this. He more than held his own with Burton and Bloom in this scene.
This is the thinking person's spy movie! Amazing acting performances by all and wonderful screenplay, direction, cinematography, and editing.
I have to agree that Oskar Werner was a deft, sublime character actor. He was fastidious in his portrayals.
