Considering the season Casemiro gave us last year, getting £40m for him would be a big win and for me, as a fan, I'd actually be happy to remember him as that one season impact player and just forget about this year. He gave us a good year last year and we got a substantial chunk of change back for him that we can use to build for the future. That's a win.

Honestly when we panic bought Casemiro on the back of a 4-0 loss at Brentford, gave him a ridiculously long, over priced contract and made him play 150 games in a year despite being 30, I really didn’t see it going wrong

Imagine saying a couple of years ago you'd be delighted to get 80m for Greenwood + Sancho.
No where near enough. Both will be the most impactful players in the sport over the next 5 to 10 years and no one will care about Sanchos tweet or Greenwoods dropped charges when they're winning trophies with other clubs

In all fairness if you can sell casemiro for 40 hes gone.
If you can sell Sancho for 50 then do it.
If you can sell Greenwood for the same then do it.
Also i feel like next season will be the final chance for ten Hag to see if he can actually manage. He isnt a bad manager, but he needs fresh and hungry players for him to work

How Antony isn’t on this list is crazy, he should be the first player out the door, mason mount deserves a chance to prove himself and mcsauce has been so clutch this year one of the only players who doesn’t complain about minutes he’s clearly better going forward(use to be a striker in the academy)

There is no way this is true. Think about the 1000's of player transfer articles you hear every year, and how many of them eventuate. Given his 17m annual wage, just getting him of the wage bill would be a positive.

The problem is that every player who plays for united, either good or bad, is on the highest wage bracket possible for their skill level / transfer fee.
If the player is good, he ends up with nothing to play for because he’s earning mega money, with a long term contract, and he’s safe regardless. Utd can’t bring in another player in their position because he’s already taking the replacement’s wage / wage of 2 players.
If the player is poor, we are stuck with the highest paid player, for his skill and transfer bracket, and other clubs can’t afford anywhere near that, because of FFP and being priced out.
That’s why we have to do loan deals because we are stuck with players one way or the other. We are probably stumping up 40-50% of their wages on loan as well.
