I’m starting to think it might be better to take a potential 4-6pt penalty next year for exceeding PSR if it means keeping all our best players. So many other clubs (Everton/Leics etc) will also lose points it might not hurt us too much in the long run, less than losing Murillo and MGW or CHO
There seems to be quite a different tonality when discussing Sangare and LoB. The tonality for LoB is kind, when with Sangare it was harsh. I don't understand why.

Emily, I agree, I think it is anxiety. Kicking can be remedied with training. He doesn't need to ping it to feet on a 60yrd pass. But he can do far better than his present standard
With my Danish cap on I would go for Morten Højllund currently at Sporting Lisbon, if Sangare goes. Exciting young player. Check him out when Denmark plays England at the Euros.

Hasselbaink 2 goals in his first 13 gamss...pires 4 goals in 33games ... firmino voted one of the worst signings in the 2015 transfer window...suarez 15 goals in first 44 games..henry 1 goal in first 8 games.. bergkamp took 7 games to score a single goal. . Even the best players can take time to adapt..
Pray he plays like he did at PSV as he was brilliant for them and if he becomes the No6 we expected we should be a lot more solid and also like O’Brien to get a chance in Pre season

I would have BBD as a 1st teamer ahead of Elanga and he would be match sharp if needed as striker.
If I remember right I thought he had some good performances early on, then played in some international games (a few weeks before afcon) and caught a virus during this break. In his games after this (but before afcon) cooper said he'd rushed him back to soon in respect to fully recovering from the virus. His performances since have not lived up to the early season promise. Could be a just a confidence issue. I'd still give him a chance of a pre-season with Nuno etc.
I'd take Adams/Bamford on frees, as a squad player, and behind the pecking order of Awoniyi and Wood

For KEEPING Sangare I've got:
- he wasn't that bad. Honestly he wasn't. He didn't pass progressively as much as he ought (goal contributions notwithstanding) but he never played with all 3 of MGW, CHO and Elanga (and a striker) in front of him. I don't blame him for looking "languid". A CDM mostly should look languid. But yep, he didn't get in great positions.

- I'm not sure there IS a place for an out & out number 6 in the way we play
- language barriers. He speaks neither English nor Portugese well.

on balance I have to echo Pat Brett in the live chat: until a player has a run I can't make a judgement. Unless someone offers us silly money we should give him a proper run.

There are hundreds of examples of players coming good after a difficult first season. Not everybody can handle a change of country, language and job the same way.
